Any way.....this loop is going to be quite a bit bigger than the last. I brought up the idea of hitting the Cherohala Skyway and there were a few approvals. I'm assuming that we will ride along the edge of Tennessee till we get to the Skyway, then head to the Dragon from from there. I'll get a map or something posted soon enough.

So who's going? :D

Because you guys are a bunch of slackers (kidding...or am I?) and there really wasn't enough collaboration, Chris, Jordan, and I agreed that this BIG drive should be scrapped. Everyone wants to go to their sister's bestfriend's daughter's dance teacher's wedding (watch soccer/football), and wants to be home/somewhere at a respectable time. We still are going to go for a drive. The route is Wolf Pen Gap, which isn't too far. The date is still the 22nd, which is this Sunday.

I'm up for it. What's the date? I can't look at the FB page, cause I don't do FB (anymore). I remember the 22nd being mentioned, though. I'll do my best to make it whenever, though. I just got back from a two-week RV trip, and after driving a 20,000 lb vehicle sitting 6 feet off the ground for two weeks, I've missed my FR-S! :wub:

The 22nd is the date as of right now. I'm thinking this little trip, with minor alterations to the route, may become an every 4-6 week thing. I think that would be awesome. ESPECIALLY when the leaves start to change. Awesome opportunity for great pics and hellacious scenery.

I have a hard enough time getting out of the city to do the Suches loop, so I won't be able to do the extended + Dragon stuff, especially with World Cup going on. But if you give me a time/place to meet I'll make sure the event reflects that.

So the 28th?

Or is the general consensus still for this weekend?

I was thinking the 22nd was Saturday. I can't go Sunday and l'll be on a cruise the 28th. This sucks.

LMAO. You crack me up. You guys have fun. Sunday is almost certainly out for me. Whenever You/Jordan gets the dates post up for the bigger ride I'll drop in my dates. Hopefully we can make it work for everybody.

No. It's on up 400 another couple miles. Where 60 crosses 400. If you're heading North the Chevron will be on the left, at the intersection.

Nah. @boredom.is.me and I met up before heading out to C&O. On the way we lined up at a red light, at 4-something AM and we took off drag racing style. Neither one of us saw the two cops at the gas staion right next to where we took off.
It was pitch black, deserted roads, and lightly raining.
Cops were pretty cool tho. Let us go. After the cop gave me my license back we chatted about cars for a few minutes. lol

At least they gave you a break since it was desolate.

Ya they were really cool. A third one pulled in behind us right as we were leaving. Eventually it turned into car talk too. They didn't see anything, but "revving" counts as racing.
