was just wondering if there would be a good amount of future frs/brz owners in the san diego area.


anyone? im just really excited for potential big meetups closer to home (not la, la's cool though, just far haha)

Fish I'll be at SDCC Sat and Sunday. Probably heading down sometime Friday, either afternoon or in the evening.

i went out myself today on a fun road but only about 20m -- boy i had to stop and take some pics cause it was just too fun and the scenery was spectacular. love this car and driving it is just addicting !! cant wait to do a good loop up the mtns soon

Would be interesting to drive down there for a day....

Or u can come to tustin or Irvine and we can drive together to SD on that day. I got 600 miles and need to break in my car

Heres' what Im talking about -- its a good 100M almost from top to bottom... alot faster and more fun than palomar - and not as much CHP... i did half of this over the wknd.. too much fun From A to L !

Im not sure if I can go - but that car even in near (A)... and one of the best roads in the county is just a few miles east...

The roads around Via Ambiente in Escondido were crazy fun to drive.

I found another bunch of people on another web site just recently. Went to the SANDAG event today and met up with a guy with a BRZ - then headed out to Barrett Junction for a small drive. I joined with same name __ apparently alot of other non FT86'rs to hang around with.

I'll been in SD from the 11th-15th. Sadly, I don't think I'll be driving my car up there. If you guys do have a meet somewhere, hopefully I can at least stop by and say hi.

Yeah. Find me at the Warner Bro's booth...specifically WB Games. I think we're outside though...haven't confirmed. But I should be there Thurs-Sat. Also debating on taking the FRS down or take the Civic.

JULY 11 (wed) - THERE is a CARGATHERING.com event at 6:30-7PM... I have never been to these but apparently its some sort of car meet that will be in town. Im thinking maybe we go there and check it out. .for whoever is available.

FRI and/or JULY14 (SAT) -- We can get together for a FRS-BRZ run around the local moutains. I can map something out --

Im new to the forum and in San Diego and Would love to go to a meet:party0030: We usually meet at the Lolitas mexican food in Kearny Mesa on every 1st wednesday of the month. This is July 4th so it will probably be next week July 11th if anyone would like to come out.

OK --- How about a friendly San Diego Run around the county next SATURDAY. its about 100Miles of twists-turns ... I dont know what time we can start?? up in the air ... 11AM-1PM ?

If you're at lolita's look for a Blue R32 with a driver that's a worship pastor at a church nearby. He's diggin' the twins! HA!

slight change -- but definite SanDiego Run planned for SAT. Meeting up near Escondido (north SanDiego County) at 6:45-7AM instead (apparently the only way to do this and avoid traffic/cops.. ) Escondido/Palomar/Julian/Ramona/RanchoBernardo area -- more details to follow. should be done by noon or before -- stopping for lunch somewhere along the way. should be alot of fun. This is a joint effort between some of us here and the cargathering folks so expect other different cars in the mix. Let me know if you are in -- Ill post details later as to location to meet up.

Don't know if anyone's down too meet up but there is a Waddup wednesday meet in the Lolita's parking lot of Claremont. We will be there with our FRS around 7pm. See whoever is going out. All cars are welcome.

Wish I had my FR-S. Sadly can't bring it as not everyone will fit. lol

OK SD, i guess a few are confirmed b-- so I may tag along on this wknd run. Here are the details on this - if anyone is around and has a few hrs to kill on saturday early. Details on route are vague, since a few of these guys dont like to post too much i hear. But they are meeting in Escondido (35m north of Downtown-SD) here is the exit at the AM-PM mart. I heard Palomar, Julian, 78,76, Ramona and who knows where else..

6:45-7:00AM meet there and take a real fun 80-100Mile run and end up back near Poway, CA/Highland Valley -- They plan to leave at 7AM

Im just coming for the ride as well , and not orginizing this but another car group is doing the planning and picking the route

Sounds like fun to take a break from the madness in CC this wknd, or just to take a break from the wife/kids. SEYA!

holy cow ! i cant beleive this many dumb people on one road. Scarry.. good video to watch before a ride so they dont get a false feeling that they are mario andretti on these small roads.
