Clint of Heuberger has LEFT!

This is sad news since I was hoping to buy from him from all the recommendations that you guys have been giving him.

Any idea on what I should do now about purchasing a Series.Blue from the dealer?

Here's the official news on the Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/ClintAtHeuberger

"I wanted to take the time to thank you all for your support, great stories and being an excellent customer.

As of today, I have resigned from Heuberger Motors, and it's with heavy heart that I am leaving such a great community of enthusiast and many friends I have made.

You have to be happy what you're doing. Hopefully one of you saw my talents and we can work together in the future.

It has been an absolute pleasure to serve you all and with that, a fair well until next time."

Sincerely,

Clint Earhart

Ruh roh. Not trying to read too much into it, but the way he says that sounds like he wasn't very happy with the dealership or they felt mutual in the divorce.

DuMa 06-02-2014 08:39 PM

I wonder if this had anything to do with me not buying from him because the car I wanted to buy had been in a hailstorm. Clint was nice enough to text me pictures of the car i wanted to buy the very next day of the hailstorm. I decided not to go through it and decided to buy elsewhere. This was all about 2 weeks ago.

Its all your fault. You ruined it for posterity!

Called Clint after hailstorm as well, wierd

I really hope someone that is of the same stature as him helps the potential buyers out, especially me.

I was really looking forward to the buying experience that everyone else had!

AznBRZer 06-02-2014 09:16 PM

Car sales has a very high turnover rate and I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at another dealership very shortly, but I would be surprised if he would be able to get the same deals there as he did it Heuberger.

Oh, and it should be "farewell," not "fair well." Someone should mention that. :D

x1UP 06-02-2014 09:39 PM

I'm really hesitant to deal with anyone else unless they are just as good, if not better than Clint.

I'm really disappointed.

Rota 06-02-2014 09:43 PM

I was just about to get in touch with him about a Series Blue BRZ. Dammit.

Same here. Hopefully whoever picks up is as good as he was.

OoLong 06-02-2014 11:19 PM

Clint is heavily pursing his interest as photographer, I think it is time for him to move on from being a car salesman and actually do something that he really enjoys. I'd say good for him! :happyanim:

dalli 06-03-2014 05:41 AM

Great guy, i hope he does well in the future. I had a great buy from him.

Ursam 06-03-2014 07:28 AM

Ouch. I emailed him last week about getting a WRB Limited. This explains why I never heard back from him. It will be interesting to see if someone else at the dealership tries to pick up Clint's connections here.

Cades 06-03-2014 10:36 AM

I too, was planning on contacting him shortly about a wrb limited, best of luck to him

x1UP 06-03-2014 10:47 AM

I was contacted by a different salesman at Heuberger who offered me help. I'm hoping to work something out in the next few weeks - 1 month and hopefully get it all sorted out.

menikmati 06-03-2014 11:43 AM

Sad to hear, I had spoken to him late last year in regards to the purchasing process and was ready to place an order next month.

Good luck to him and all his endeavors.

x1UP, If the guy that you were set up with proves to be pretty solid, please let me know. Probably going to head down to the springs in the next month and buy a BRZ myself, and potentially a friend of mine as well at the same time

Will do. I'll keep everyone updated. So far so good. Although, the thing with this is that I can'r compare pricing from Clint and the other salesman since I don't know what kind of pricing Clint was giving people.

If ya'll could help me find out what kind of pricing Clint was giving then I should have a good idea on if this is a solid and smooth transaction.

Which by no means is a knock on any salesman, but since Clint was giving people great prices and satisfaction, I still have my worries.

kayoh 06-03-2014 01:09 PM

Clint was awesome to work with, glad I got my car in before this news.

Business as usual

Hey everyone, trying to make the rounds on all the forums to let you know that all open orders or new ones will be dealt with according to the standards you have come to expect as forum members. Eric Wass (ericw@hmtrs.com) is your goto guy for now until we find someone with the required energy to keep up with you lot.

As far as pricing goes, you'll continue to get the best possible price on anything you need just as Clint was able to do for you. So in other words, it's just business as usual. Check out the comments section on our Facebook page if you're interested in people's experiences during this transition.

AWESOME! Thanks for this reassurance! Good to hear that it's business as usual!

I hope I didn't come out as offensive to the other salespeople in your dealership, I was just worried. Understandably, there are people who are worried with change just as with anything.

I know Eric and whoever you find will do a fine job in giving the forum members here the price and satisfaction that Clint has since passed on!

HeubergerMotors 06-03-2014 05:16 PM

Oh, quite understandable, no offense taken at all. Cheers!

Maybe Clint will get a job at Porsche or Audi? $5k under invoice on an RS3 might be tempting... ;)

Odd 06-04-2014 01:50 AM

Seriously though this is how car buying should be, please keep it up @HeubergerMotors, heck hire 2 guys :)

I just placed my order from Heuberger today, I had no idea there was/is a specific salesman I should have been working with :iono:

I've been working with Nikole and have had a good experience so far.

Awesome to hear this. How was the experience in terms of pricing and all of that? As expected? Better?

I've not been following the BRZ scene for two years, so I'm not super in tune with what an excellent deal is. Heuberger has a good reputation on NASIOC so I figured I'd give them a shot.

I ordered a BRZ Limited for $25,785, plus D&H ($389) and my local taxes. They also offered me $2500 more for my trade-in (estimate only) than the other dealer in Chicago I talked to. This combination seemed plenty good to me, plus I get to take a fun trip when I pick it up.

I haven't gotten the sold order invoice yet, but I just ordered this afternoon, so hopefully I will receive it tomorrow.

That's good to hear. How is the order process?

I'm only asking because I'm deciding between either taking an order from them or my local dealer who is willing to match or beat the price on whatever BRZ.

Thanks in advance.

I told Nikole what I was interested in (BRZ and STi) and she responded via email the next day with prices. I then told her about my trade in and she provided me with an estimate. I called her today to place the order; they require a $1000 deposit, but they will let you put $2000 if you want (better for credit card rewards!).

I would hope I get the sold order confirmation tomorrow, and a VON shortly after. Then its a waiting game until I am assigned a VIN, at which point the car is a few weeks away. At least that's how it worked when I ordered my WRX.

I've heard Heuberger's prices are the best (or close) in the country. I'm not too keen on haggling over a few hundred dollars, I'd rather just get a great price upfront and make the process smoother and more enjoyable for everyone. And their location gives me an excuse to have some fun when I pick up my car, which is a bonus.

x1UP 06-05-2014 02:11 AM

That's good to hear. I've been in the same process so far, just emails back and forth about pricing and etc.

I just want to be able to make sure the finer details such as financing and or any other details that need to be smoothed out before putting a deposit down.

Fortunately I'm not financing this time, so I don't have to worry about it :party0030:

Make sure you check what their accessory pricing is. Honestly there isn't much I'd get though, these cars come with everything I want.

I'm looking at specifically the Series.Blue, so I wouldn't need any other accessories as I am happy with what Subaru released.

Just looking to work out the price and details and then hopefully financing and then have it here sometime next month!

Just put down deposit for Special Series BRZ

Hello everyone,

I just put down deposit to reserve The 2015 Special Series WRB BRZ,
I work with Eric Wass, he is great, just straight forward.
Hopefully I will get my BRZ in few months,
Now it's the 'painful' waiting period...

It was very straight forward , no B.S. no game back and forth,
Just ask Eric what are you looking for? he will get back to you with fair price. He will tell if the vehicle you looking are in stock or not, or he can order one for you, he or his assistance Nicole will keep you update.

fungizmos 06-10-2014 01:53 AM

I'm now on this list also. Thanks to Nikole from Hueburger!

Now the waiting begins... Looking forward to the drive from CO to PDX.
