When is the next shipment coming to LA?
 

I have a vin number, I was told its on a ship...............thats all I was told.

Well there are like 4 rows of at least 50 cars per row sitting in the toyota port parking lot right now.

what did you order would be some helpful info there snakeypoo, FR-s and BRz come in via different channels

you need to be a little more thorough with your questions if you want to not discredit the name you chose...snake would never ask a question without giving the pertinent data...

Is Toyota trying to ensure the dealers are well stocked for June 1st. Does June 1st really mean anything?

I wish they had a system like BMW where you could track your car from production to delivery. :(

The reason I am asking is because,
1) I am really nearing the end of my patience for this car. I just can't take it anymore.
2) I have to get rid of my current car, I am trying to guess the window.

Since no one really answered my question in another thread, does adding port options delay your car a few days? A week?

Scion FR-s's will hit the lots next weekend. Memorial Day WEEKEND! I Should have all four of mine that weekend. That being said you can not buy one/take delivery tell after 6/1/2012.

So be prepared for your car to get touched, leaned on, sat in, looked at wrong and breathed on wrong. Tell the first of June.Who knows maybe even a few test drive and power slides?

All mine will be put to the side and hide tell June 1st. Unless someone from these boards would like to come and have a look.

While they can't be taken off the lot until the 1st, is there anyway that we can make sure they don't receive this treatment? As in, TAKE MY MONEY AND DON'T LET PEOPLE TOUCH MY CAR, GOSHDARNIT.

We're supposed to begin receiving vehicles on Memorial Day (likely the day after for most dealers). If your car is at the port, you should have a FULL VIN available within a few days of its arrival.

If I have a VIN now, does that mean the car is most likely at port?

If its in freight(on the back of a truck somewhere) status you will have a full VIN.

I guess you will have to call your dealer. This is the spotlight car for Scion. My unsold ones will be on the showroom floor within minutes of getting off the truck.

The more people breath on them. The more we will sell.

The only person that will drive mine is my mechanic and my detailer and it will sit in the shade tell I am done with work that day.

There is also two points that you are missing here. But I'll let you figure out what those are. They are very important ones that most buyers will miss.

If your car is at port then youll get it by june 1

If it is at sea then no.

Honestly. This last month has been OCD for me. I'm starting to go delirious. I'm googling and checking this forum all day, then it's YouTube videos every day. It's starting to drive me crazy.

I can't remember ever acting like this. I try to sleep at night and I think about this car while in bed. I look at my 370z like it's a POS. I'm at the end of my rope here. Last night I took Nyquil so I could sleep and be one day closer.

I am not setting myself up for disappointment because I sat in the car and felt a connection. I just want my car!!!!!!

I think you may need psychological help. Just be patient, most of us have been waiting more than 3 years for this car to be released. I dont think a couple more weeks is going to kill you. :respekt:

REALLY?? My dealer said I can take it as soon as the paper work is done.

My dealer is being real strict on the June 1st BS.
