Like I've promised, I'll announce 86EXPO 2014 info this Memorial Weekend. Sorry, Autox info isn't there yet... but expect to get some info soon. :bow:

& BIG thanks to @kanundrum to working with Ptuning to let us use their space. @M-17 for helping a lot with tshirt & other stuff. FRSTRM & several other members too!

GOOD NEWS!!! Contract w ODR SCCA is finished!!! We should have online registration should be up soon (hopefully by next week).

Just a heads-up, airfield only allow 100 car to run the autox, so if you're interested in running autox don't procrastinate!

As for the price, we're prob be looking at $45 per driver. That include SCCA weekend membership & insurance that's require to run.

Also we're looking at food trucks over there too... You guys interested in food truck at the autox? LMK

Yup, we're doing it again, here's a teaser on tshirt gonna look like.
We're pre-ordering it first, so we won't order way too much like last yr (it was my fault).
Pre-order is $5 & you just pay the rest at the event. We're looking at $20 per tshirt, so if you pre-order it, you'll just pay $15. If you like to pre-order it, please PM me.

Buying at the event will cost you $25, save yourself extra $5 & pre-order!

If you are interested in entering 86EXPO Car Show registration is free! Only require info we need are:

• You name
• FR-S or BRZ
• Mod lists (doesn't have to list ALL the list)
• Pic (minimum of ONE photo is required)

Please PM these info to @Guff.

We're looking give or take about 20 FR-S and 20 BRZ due to space. If we have more than 10 each registered, we'll be choosing the 10 FR-S and 10 BRZ from the list (sorry).

Looking Forward to Hosting Everyone at our Shop. Its a Sunday So Parking will be available all over our complex (300+ Cars). We Maybe opening up our dyno(Heart Break Dyno Dynamics) for a few selected cars from out of our local area and if we do we will let everyone know.

First, Thanks Ichi for coordinating all this--its a big task!

I have to admit, I'm dubious about having a 3 hour drive between locations. Granted, if I come out to VA Beach and then Manassas, I can visit with a couple different friends (plus being closer to home on Sunday), but thats quite a large separation.

That said, I am still going to try to make the trip both days. Ichi, are you going to look into getting group rates at any of the hotels? I can guarantee that both locations are going to have some normally very expensive hotel rooms.

Yeah +3hrs will be a bit nightmare. I was talking w few other this. But sadly WDCR SCCA couldn't workout to do autox, so we went with next closest one ODR SCCA.

As for me, I'm planning to stay at Richmond VA. Reason is, it middle of Manassas & VA Beach. Prob be looking about an hr or so trip to either side, so it's not bad as +3hrs drive.

But if there's someone there know some group rate on hotel, that'll help a lot of members, I think

Just a FYI from Richmond to va beach you're looking at about a hour and a half. There is Water Country USA/Busch Gardens between Richmond and va beach, and during that time of the year traffic on 64 can get backed up. IF its backed up, plan on an additional 30 mins to a hour of drive time.

Richmond isn't a terrible idea, actually. Also, getting a group rate is fairly easy. All they want to know is how many people you are expecting (maybe use the number on the FB page with 15-25 extra) and when we'll be there. You won't have to make any down payments personally, except for your own room.

Having an car event where you actually have to drive somewhere to participate is better than sitting in a hot parking lot for two days just looking at different variations of the same car.

I am sure the show car crowd won't be happy but they can just park their cars and ride with other people.

There will be some great cruises into Manassas following the Va Beach event. We will be sure to set some up to make the most out of the trip.

I'm probably in for this. Can promise yet. But I'm gonna try, there's no telling though with my job.

Damn 6 hours drive to VA beach... I'll take the Tshirt and pretend I went.

Better than a 20+ hour Drive to the West Coast where Most Cool Car events Happen. Glad there is Love for the East Coast This year. We appreciate it

Hey, I would like to grab one of these for my son who owns a FR-S. It is unlikely that he will be able to get off work in Florida long enough to attend. Is there any possibility of ordering a shirt and having it shipped if I pay in full up front?

Also, thanks for organizing this event for the East Coast guys.

If we have enough space, I like to get Other Toyota car parking space & Other Subaru car space too! Both brands have nice cars & owners take pride of. I wanna see those too ;)

That include autox. You don't have to own FRS/BRZ to do autox w us on Saturday. You can bring your MRS & join us! Last yr, we had several other cars joined the event. Had fun mix the cars (Porsche, AE86, etc) came to compete in autox.

So bring your MRS & join the fun :)

I'm thinking of coming from the Cleveland area. 9 hour drive, not including stops. Suck it up.

Iirc last yr, FT86SpeedFactory drove all the way from Iowa over 20hr drive. Other guy came from Seattle, WA.
