TRD parts

Hi, im pretty new to this forum but ive been reading, and viewing. I would just like to ask where all the TRD accessories are? Ive seen all the images of the 86 with the TRD kit and the big TRD brakes but havent seen any on the forum members cars or anyone mention them. Are they avaliable on the brochure when u purchase them or have they not been released?

Nardi330 05-21-2012 02:54 AM

i ordered my TRD rear wing thru an import agent. it should be available in June and will EMS over to Australia.

Pplater 05-21-2012 03:44 AM

i see Nardi330 thank you very much for the info. But still my question remains wonder if toyota australia gonna list TRD parts as an option when purchasing car

Nardi330 05-21-2012 03:50 AM

not initially. maybe beginning of 2013.

buying from Toyota should be more expensive too.

You guys will probably at least get access to all the stuff they offer in the JDM cars. I think we're getting stuck with crappy TRD USA parts in the 'States.

Pplater 05-21-2012 09:03 PM

really that would be great if we did get JDM parts

I have the full trd kit on order and also a few other trd parts. I just received my TRD shift knob today and it looks great on the car. I will post pics later. As for the spoiler/lip package it should be here in 60-90 days

wow 11 300$ USD for TRD BBK?

maybe its an acceptable price in japan, not here in north america for sure. well not for a 26k car at least. on a lamborgini i can understand.

ngabdala 05-23-2012 11:36 PM

Yeah that and a couple more mods and I'd be better off buying a Porsche

I take it its a little expensive??

Dat jdm isnt cheap my friend:popcorn: im sure we'll get some better alternatives later on this year, just give it a few months:thumbsup:

Pplater 05-24-2012 07:34 AM

But it looks so cool and specs seem pretty worth the money, what else on the current market will be a substitute for the TRD BBK either around same price or under it

sho 05-24-2012 08:36 AM

endless bbk ;)

trd bbk is most likely re-branded with trd tax ontop

Memphis 05-24-2012 08:45 AM

It would be nice if TRD came out with a BBK in colors other than red. Ive always liked the gold caliper look. It would stand out against black rims and that asphault gray :)
