OEM BRZ fog light bulb interchangeability?

Hi guys. Just a quick question, does any one know if the OEM PSX24W bulb found inside the BRZ fog light is interchangeable with other types of bulbs? I'm really interested in upgrading my fog lights to 35w HIDS but I haven't been able to find any kits in the PSX24W bulb sizes.

Thanks in advance!

Just want it known so I don't get banned or anything, I'm not affiliated with DiodeDynamics in any way. I just like their products.

Anyways lol DiodeDynamics sells a few awesome stuff for the BRZ fogs.
Multicolor LEDs - $65
Amber/White LEDs (with varying brightness) - $30-$90
HID Conversion Kit - $200

Not sure if it helps or not but thurr ya go.

Thanks for looking into that for me.

I hear a lot of good things about those guys. But I'm actually thinking about going with DDMtuning instead just because their hid kit prices are considerably lower lol. Also they are local to me in SD so it'll be even cheaper for me to pickup. I had there kits installed on my 06 SER and was quite satisfied with my purchase as well.

Unfortunately they don't have an hid kit for the OEM BRZ fog light bulb size (or none that I'm aware of).

We have great LED options for the BRZ fog lights as well. Our XP80's look great with the factory HID's:

Hey Nick! just wondering if im replacing the stock bulbs with Led ones would they be bright enough to make a difference? Or even brighter than the stock? Just curious!

It depends which model you select, the XP80's will provide usable light output, but the HP8's and SMD models are more for cosmetic appearance.

Or you can install an HID conversion kit, if you are looking for the most usable light output

Im thinking of using the xp80 because im not too sure how to install the hid since my fogs are tapped into the head lights i believe. how do the XP80s compare to the stock fogs then? :P

The XP80's produce 510 measured lumens, (usable) and have a great appearance. Very simple installation, yet big improvement over the factory lighting

I strongly recommend them for the ease of installation and the brightness they produce for being a self-contained LED

Just my opinion, but pick up the ones from diode dynamics, they are awesome. Super easy install, look great, and no issues at all so far.

Anyone have comparison pictures of XP8 vs XP80? Currently I have XP8, but I can tell the light output isn't very usable. I'm curious how much of a difference the next bulb up would look.

Do you have the "HP8" or the XP80s?

There's a considerable difference in output between our HP models and XP bulb models

Sorry for the confusion. I have HP8. I'm considering upgrading to XP80's if the difference is noticeable. I'd prefer to see comparison pictures, but I trust your word!

The lumen output is significantly greater with the XP models than the HP models

I don't have output comparison pictures between the two on an FR-S at the moment, but they do come with a 30-day money back hassle free exchange guarantee :D

This is with XP80s^^
