BRZ shipping status for New England
Hey guys,
After reading a post on another BRZ forum site. I found there are a few peeps who were able to obtain complete VIN's in Mass. I also live in Mass an havent been able to get a VIN (dealer says car will be here end of may or very early june). I did notice if you go to your dealers' website (mine is IRASubaru.com) and select "new inventory" they now have 2013 cars (no pics) matching the BRZ for pricing, colors, etc. Check it out! I am getting a limited auto WRB and there is one listed coming in for my dealership (matching my exact specs). Check it out if you're in the NE area... you may find your car! And it even lists the cars' VIN! Need.... car....now! |
That's odd. How can they have the car listed in inventory and not know your VIN?
Found mine on Atlantic's site: http://www.atlanticsubaru.com/new/Su...bce5be9a59.htm

Yup, worked for me, showed my VIN just like you said, very cool! Even shows the auto dimming mirror w/homelink I just added a couple of days ago.
At least we know our cars are definitely coming! Hopefully sooner rather than later. :) |

Found mine as well!! You sir, are a genius.

I have my VIN for a GBS Premium MT here in NH.
|
Since NY uses SDC, it doesn't show mine!!! :(
|
Cool dude. Well call your dealer back so you can tell them that is yours lol.
And yes, many dealerships in New England have posted the cars they are receiving with VINs. I think just because there's a VIN doesn't mean it makes the first shipment to dealership. You would have to double check. Do a search on autotrader.com for the brz in 100 mile radius and you will see quite a few dealerships and what they have. Congrats tho :happyanim: Quote:

At 3% it is $407. That number is not including any dealer documentation fees, tax, title, reg so you could be adding another $3000 to the loan amount. That would bring your payment to $527 at 7%APR or $472 at 3%. Just shop out the loan. You have 3 credit scores so find somewhere that bases the loan on the highest of your 3 scores.

Loan Calculator
I like to use this loan calculator as it figures in taxes. The only thing it doesn't is any additional dealers fees, title, and registration if you are unaware of those charges and add them to the price in the calculator

Who wants to give me a ride when theirs' comes in?

Genius ! Thanks, my car shows up in inventory too. I was told they were in port, so this confirms its nearness :happyanim:
|
My dealer today (Patrick Subaru, SNE) said they are expecting the first cars in about 10 days.
|
If I keep my order by then I will. I'm still considering an EVO.

"THIS VEHICLE IS IN TRANSIT"
Thanks, I found my VIN. Oddly enough, if I view the dealership website on my phone, the mobile version states:
Drivetrain: 4WD Engine: 2.0L 4cyl SOHC 200HP Engine :D |
Sweet, the car is showing on my dealers website along with the options I chose!! I can also see the only other order they have on a car which is a silver limited 6mt with no options.

I had a dream last night that BRZs were being dropped off at my local dealer. Then I woke up ;)

Found mine as well. Only WRB 6MT with the mirror and wheel locks.

I called about 2 weeks ago, I just happened to call just after someone called and backed out of their pre-order for a different color (the dealer was already working on editing their website). Now I have a galaxy blue premium MT coming in their June allocation! I already have my VIN, so I'm just waiting on the test drive to confirm the deal. I bet a lot of people have either put down multiple deposits, or will walk, so you still have a good chance at getting one. |

I'm almost wondering if I should wait for a dealer's second allocation; I'm not sure if I'll have enough cheddah for a down payment in the next 2-3 weeks... I haven't heard of any other GBS Limited 6MT's coming in through anyone, though.
|
Do you already have a deposit in? And, if you're not sure if you'll have enough money by that time then it sounds like even if you do have enough you're spending all your hard earned money only to see it all gone.
I'd hate to see you lose a job or get injured and then have the car repo'd. It's always nice to have a reserve amount of money for emergencies for those things. I think you wouldn't be able to fully enjoy the car knowing you just spent everything. Well, I know I wouldn't so it's not fair of me to tell you how you would feel. Just trying to help. The BRZ will always be around man. :burnrubber: Quote:

I wouldn't put all the blame on them...I'm pretty sure they are giving a fairly general date due to the fact that SoNE isn't giving anyone any information about when these cars are actually arriving. I'd rather they give me a wide date range and call me early than give me a specific date and then have the car be 2 weeks late. I do however wish they would give me my VIN number though, I also ordered a WRB MT Limited :) |

Anyways there were about 4 of those WRB MT Limiteds on the website so I don't think we have too much to worry about. |

I called up SoA and gave them my VIN, but unfortunately they can't give me any ETA since they are separate from Subaru of New England.

You have a VIN already so I would guess it would be in during June. Your car is in the USA

Any word on if that boat that was coming into Boston within the last few days had any BRZ's on it?
|
Idk

I'll be getting a call on Thursday from SoA, so I will ask them then about my vin.

Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury, MA has cars in the first allocation that are open for a deposit. Also, I would stay in touch with the dealership that you missed the first allocation with. Some of those cars may not be bought. Someone could have put deposits down on multiple dealerships and will need to cancel. Some won't be able to afford or get approved for a loan. So many scenerios.
