It is $30/box, reasonable but seems we may need to wait even for 86/BRZ Plamodels..... :( not released yet......

The 86 RC is quite pricy.... around $300.....

I'm trying to find any retailers who can ship them to overseas or the US.

I'm waiting for the autoart already assembled die cast models. They are really expensive but the attention to detail is ridiculous.

I work at the Toyota Hawaii distributor, so we're hoping to get some of the HPI FR-S kits. But the Tamiya 86 looks really detailed!

Already have a TT01, but i need to know a) where to get the body only and b) will it come painted (unlikely I know) and where I will be able to source H8R model paint?

Got mine! One of my coordinators hooked me up when he was in Japan a few weeks ago.

I've got two BRZ's and two Aoshima FR-S's on preorder myself. Looks like the Tamiya kits are only going to be left hand drive, while the Aoshima kits will be both. It also looks like the Aoshima kits will have opening trunks too.

I'm waiting for the Autoart version too.

Just bought me a Tamiya GT86. Its been a long while since I last did a model car. Looks like I will have to spend a bit of time adding detail to make it look more realistic. I wonder what I will paint the car. I wanted a BRZ so WR blue was what I was planning on, but maybe I'll do a white pearl color. Either way gives me something to look at till I save up the funds to get me the real deal.

Just thought I'd share my progress with the kit in case those who decide to purchase it can see what they might be getting into.

Just finished doing pearl clear gloss over the body. So maybe I'll post my finished model sometime.

Is there any update on a BRZ RC Car or body available?
What about small scale die-cast models?

oh thanks crap I ordered the wrong paint then, I think my car is gonna come out looking like Dark gray metallic and not Crystal Black I wanted a metallic look so I went with TS40 instead of TS14, hopefully it will still make the car look nice.

Sorry to bump old thread again, but had to say that was a great build:thumbsup:. Mine turned out pretty good but I hate how the interior turned out. I shouldn't have rushed, never ever rush lol. I mean it came out fine just not exactly what I wanted. I'll have to post pics once I get to unpack my boxes. Been in the middle of moving for awhile now.
