ForceWerkz FRS V2 Front lip is now available for purchase!

------------------------------------------------------
We've been busy working/prototyping a lip for the FRS/GT86
We have had many request for this style of lip in the pass few months so we finally decided to put it into production.

Here are some shots of how the lip came to be:

http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/v...ps8a9b31b1.jpg
Started out with a rough design.

http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/v...ps6d84ae25.jpg
Than started to chop and refine the lip to fit better.
The lip now is molded to match the shape of bottom part of FRS bumper.

First Polyurethane version of the lip came out this month and we immediately test fit it on. The results came out pretty well.

This ForceWerkz FRS V2 lip is made from full USA quality polyurethane. Comes in a very flexible material. We have tested the lip twisted in 360 degrees and still goes back to shape (will show pic of this later on)

It's now in it's final stages and design is finalized
Look forward to seeing this lip available soon :)

Questions:

How much lower does this sit once installed?

3M tape or screws or both to hold securely?

Obviously this is easily primed and paintable correct?

Scaldy 05-03-2014 02:20 AM

This looks great, really well thought out. It fills a need in the market that protects the lip without lowering the front too much. Good luck

sirsol66 05-03-2014 03:23 PM

How much does this lower the front end?

Having the lip on for not even 4 days, drove to Fremont, Ca for a court date and look..

http://i1322.photobucket.com/albums/...ps17a7f199.jpg
I think the way it was installed (screws) lead to it because of the constant bumps and dips. I knew i should've used bolts and a nut. :(
Is there anyway i can get another replacement one for a lower price since i think i'm the first to break the lip? :sigh:

Why do you think the screws are to blame?

Well I put multiple in, all seperated apart and it was firm don't get me wrong. The threadings were a little thin so when the middle portion popped off, I tugged a little on the side of the lip near the middle, and the screw popped off with the lip without even needing to be unscrewd. I jus think if I would've used a bolts and nuts it would've been fine, I didn't hit anything hard, just a few scrapes, but since the middle portion popped of first it caught onto the gravel and chucked rocks at my windshield. Lol. Don't get me wrong, I love the lip and it's durable, but I just need a different way of installing it, just so it won't pop off or anything.

myEFispissed 05-16-2014 02:44 AM

Cool, man.... good to know. Mine was delivered today, just waiting to install.

SupremeOrigin 05-17-2014 04:24 AM

I am very interested in this. Any idea on how much lower it puts the body to the ground? I want to measure on my bumper to see if this is doable for me as my car sits low already.

From the FRS bumper "fangs" to the ground with lip install, it's about 2 inches.

https://store-k7he5iu4.mybigcommerce...146__84266.jpg
But realistically the lip only goes less than an inch lower than the lowest part of the bumper.
