Drive around Florida
 

So, when i get back from my deployment and get my car setup. I want to do a lap around Florida starting from the panhandle where I live. Has anyone ever done this?

Nope. You can follow Hwy 98 down the coast for awhile and then head down South past Tampa and then across the Everglades to the MIA and then take Highway 1/A1A all the way up to Jacksonville and then Hwy 90 back across the state to the Panhandle if you want to avoid Interstates and see the state.

Hell yeah, got a buddy coming with my might bring his RX-7. Going to try and Hit Tampa, Miami, And Jacksonville. spend a night or two in each spot. I know i want to be in Miami on thursday to go to their meet. I notice your from Tampa. Any meets on like wednesday or tuesday? I may be asking this shit to early cause im doing the drive in the first week of September.

Waaaaaaaay early lol but who knows what will happen by then maybe we can get some guys to join the drive. We have out meets on Thursdays for now. @derekk

Yeah I saw that and his FBM kit was pending sale before I could even get a bid in, haha. An M3/M4 or an STI is not a bad decision for him since he loves boost so much. I don't know if we are still going to Disney World anymore either. @whitefrs

I will probably be on to my next vehicle by the time this meet happens as well.

I need a 4dr and looking at the m3 is only 2dr and the m3 4dr is out of my price range right now as I'm buying a range rover for the wife :thumbdown::thumb down:

The E90 M3 (the four door one) was cheaper than the E92 M3 (two door one). If you don't need boost, you can get an E90 M3 for some really great prices and get to experience dat 8400 RPM 4.0L V8. Then save your pennies for an ESS or VF supercharger kit.

Then you are talking about the new M3 (four doors) and the M4 (two doors). You can get probably get at least $3,500 off MSRP on one and the M3 starts at $62k. You can get it even cheaper if you do the European Delivery and go see Euro Mickey. It will be a great car for the money as long as you don't go throwing another $10k+ in options on it.

yeas thats why M4 was out of my book because its a 2 dr and m3 with the options i want was closed to 64k.

im gonna stick to the Sti for now and when Range Rover is paid off, I'm moving to something more classy and fast :)

@Sportsguy83 as the Florida forum mod should be planning it. We held it last year at Rev Works in Orlando.

Ah ok. I think I got my car right after that then. The southeast megameet was pretty big. But the Orlando meet n greet had to be the biggest I've been to. I'll make sure to stay in the loop. @King Tut
