My BRZ has AWD according to Subaru

This is from one of those stupid new car surveys they send. What do you like most about your car? I chose awd. They can't even get it right in their own surveys. People complain about the dealers not knowing anything, apparently Subaru itself is clueless.

New car survey? They probably didn't modify the form for the BRZ since every other Subaru is AWD.

Lol ya I wouldnt have made a whole new survey just for one car.

Dude, calm down. They contract out those surveys. We've got the first non-AWD Subaru (in the US) in nearly two decades, so I'll give them a break for leaving that option on the list.

First world problems: new car survey. SMFH.

Turbo95eg6 04-10-2014 02:07 AM

That'll teach them OP... You won the internets today.

The359 04-10-2014 03:13 AM

The dealers and Subaru have no involvement with the surveys. I'm fairly certain *any* car will have AWD listed as an option for you to answer. They include a caveat in the questionaires that "not all items listed may be equipped on your car" or some sort of wording.

aschnell 04-10-2014 07:43 AM

How do they as a car company expect to get meaningful data out of the survey if they don't take 5 minutes to tailor the survey to each vehicle? I just thought it was funny, and in some way a waste of my time and Subaru's money. Those surveys could actually serve a purpose to help get cars we actually want to buy and drive, instead we get this.

Universal survey because (save the trees) campaigns on going over the world. That's why no special soup for you. :)

aschnell 04-10-2014 08:21 AM

It was an online survey. Save the bits?

Prog 04-10-2014 09:24 AM

I got and completed those same surveys.

Keep in mind that what others have said is true, but maybe they're also gauging the knowledge of BRZ owners about their own car. I mean if a bunch of people put that they really like the AWD in their BRZ, maybe Subaru would be less likely to take their other survey answers seriously.

Wait.............. My car isn't all wheel drive???

Fuck this I'm selling it

AznBRZer 04-10-2014 11:33 AM

I was at a dealer for service and the SERVICE MANAGER thought the car was AWD. I nearly shit myself.

BRZfan 04-12-2014 02:34 PM

It was a "test" to see what knuckleheads responded (or not).

Exactly, perhaps it was a "check question". They do this with scientific research studies, to make sure you actually aren't randomly answering answers on surveys and to confirm validity.

Way to go your results have been thrown out now lol.
