Painted brake calipers

I have been toying with the idea of painting my calipers this spring but I'm not sure on color and looking for opinions. I have a WRB BRZ with red Rally Armor flaps. I was thinking, Red, Blue, Yellow or Neon Green

If youre going to paint it, might as well paint it red and keep the theme.

That said, I wouldnt paint them at all.

Along with the color of your car, matching caliper paint also is effected by the color of your rims for effective contrast.

If you are already going red, then go red. Yellow goes better with blue IMO:

I used to have a white prelude. I had the calipers painted neon green. I looks really good. If you have a white car, that's what I recommend.

What color are your wheels?

Since you are wr blue, ( same as mine by the way ) to make it pop during the spring, paint them yellow. I painted mine yellow and it looks awesome on the wr blue color. Dude forget red, 99% of people always paint their calipers red. Do something different and stand out. You can go with green, as of matter of fact i was thinking of painting mine neon green next !:happyanim:

From my experience i can tell you VHT is awesome to spray paint the calipers. Just don't use dupli-color, it sucks!

Did yall paint them with the calipers on the vehicle or did you take them off?

Wyattkb 04-14-2014 04:32 PM

You guys should powder coat them. They come out looking much more vibrant and smooth.

Last time I got a pair of front z32 calipers done it was $60 with them already disassembled.
