Exclusive Private Event for SCION Owners! Weds April 16th Lake Tahoe
 

Hey guys, I am very excited to be able to share this invite to all of you guys. SCION and BLOX Racing have reached out to me and given me details on a very cool PRIVATE event they are doing for SCION owners and they would love to see some FR-S join them for this! Because it’s going to be on a weekday, I think it will be a very intimate, up-close opportunity to see some Formula D cars and meet some very cool people. Check this out.

BLOX Racing, Fremont, CA

Come meet SCION Racing drivers Ken Gushi and Fredric Aasbo at a special, private event in Lake Tahoe, NV. On Wednesday, April 16, 2014 both drivers will participate in a drifting exhibition in their FD-spec race cars. The location will be a secluded lot somewhere in Incline Village in North Lake Tahoe. If you have never witnessed drifting or have always wanted to meet these drivers, this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

In addition, you will have the chance to meet and hang out with Ken and Fredric at a quaint, karaoke mixer on Tuesday evening.

Schedule of Events (Subject to change)

Tuesday, April 15th :: 9PM – 12AM

• Karaoke and social mixer
• Must be 21 and older to drink

Wednesday, April 16th :: 10AM – 2PM

• Vehicle owners’ show-and-shine
• Giveaways
• DJ music and lunch provided (food truck on-site)
• Regional media coverage
• Official SCION video taping
• Presentation to ROWW

This is a private event so you must RSVP, first-come first-serve limited space available. Only SCION vehicles will be allowed into the event to park in the special SCION only area and participate in the show. Registration is FREE.

I know it is unfortunate for all the Subaru twin owners that this is a SCION event, but look at it from their perspective. It's a SCION Racing promotion, meant to promote the SCION brand and reward its owners. They have nothing against other cars, but they want to make this a special event/treat for the SCION family.

Which hotel you guys staying at?

are you guys getting confirmation emails or just getting added to the list? I was going to reserve a room at the host hotel but from my email:

"I will submit your name + 1. After confirmation, you will begin the receive the rest of the email updates."

didn't want to book until i know i'm going for sure.

Got an actual confirmation email. Gonna stay at the host hotel too. Booking thru hotel.com which emailed me a 10% discount code

So there's 2 diff emails? I got one talking about "updates" so I'm assuming it's not the confirmation email :(
