I've search for a thread but I couldn't find anything about this. I probably fail at searches..

Besides the STi/special edition.. Does anyone have any info on the 2015 models yet?


Only things I've found out were:

• sharkfin antenna
• new exhaust tips
• gunmetal carbon interior
• new keyfob(sport tech/limited)
• different white and silver colours.. not sure if it's a new colour or rename. (crystal white pearl and ice silver metallic)

for the "STi" version

• frameless mirror
• knee pads
• black and blue alcantara seats
• blue stitching

Can you cite where you found that information?

Yep they have two new color code in 2015, we just order 2015 FR-S. But I cannot confirm what color of those new code :(

It's white and silver, I'm not sure if it's a rename or a brand new colour. Since SWP and SSM aren't there anymore.

Dealer sent me info when I asked.

I wonder if the new gunmetal carbon interior is the interior that came on the 10 Series. As shown on bottom in photo below.

Hoping so. I think it's nicer than the silver that's in there right now.

crystal white pearl and ice silver metallic should be the 2 new colors.
the same 2 colors are on the '15 wrx

Yeah, those are the two colours.

Not sure. I have the colour codes for them though.



Looking over this again.. The only thing that throws me off is that
the BRZ "STi" model, shows as a MT but it says it has paddle shifters? i'm sure thats a typo

I think it meant that the STI comes in Auto with paddle shifter too. ;)

Not sure if it'll be different for the States though.

In the pictures; From top, 2nd column, 3rd row... There's a picture of an auto shifter... but like you said, could be only for JDM...

North American models... no idea how they will play it lol

The paddle shifters do the same thing as on the C7 manual - toggle rev-matching on/off. :D

The new white is a step backwards, not as rich looking, closer to a flat BMW Alpine White. The silver - who cares....

Will the Crystal White Pearl "look" more white?

Some odd reason the FRS / BRZ SWP doesn't look as "white" in some angle (see below). Can anyone confirm? Thanks!

any news of an improved head unit? i've read that the wrx ones are a bit faster and more responsive. also wondering how the suspension is going to be revised, if that is indeed true.

They'll most likely be Ice Silver and Crystal White Pearl. The same colors on the 2015 WRX.

Seems like the same head unit, dealer said no performance changes, it's all cosmetic.

My dealer told me the new BRZ STI will come with the GTR engine, but with quad turbos. Each turbo will spool off of 1.5 cylinders. It will have 700 hp, but only 250 ft-lb tq.

:sigh:

So we might be getting the same colors we have now, but in different shades of white and gray? In my opinion, a pretty big letdown for those hoping for a facelift or power upgrades. I was looking forward to seeing more than exhaust tips and an antenna as well.

JDM 86s do not have sat radio. Those sharkfins will not fit on a USDM brz/frs.
