I installed mine last Saturday, and so far I love em. I went to my local Toyota dealership with the part number in hand from Toyota territory, and they had the springs available and beat their price.

That's funny. They have been available for about a week now. I'll take some pics. Hopefully I can find a before shot that shows the stock rally stance

online it says:

" Lowers vehicle’s center of gravity by approximately one inch (1 1/8”) "

BlueDubbinTDI 04-03-2014 08:35 PM

Not a chance. Half inch tops in that pic...

It has been said 0.75" or 20mm in a few places. Since the car is designed to ride 20mm lower I figure that seems about right.

I wouldn't trust the website as it says the rear sway bar is 17.5mm and mine was 16mm.

I own these springs but have not installed them yet. If I get time I'll take FTG measurements.

So this is the lowest you can go if you dont want to lose warranty?

AVodka14 04-03-2014 09:16 PM

TRD springs are very minimal in terms of lowering. That are not aggressive at all. I wasted my money on the springs when I had my tC. They make good struts though. The springs are good if you are not wanting to get the tire and wheel well flush to say the least.

idario 04-03-2014 11:49 PM

It I an one inch drop up front and one and a half inch drop in the rear. I mainly enjoy the higher spring rate and elimination of the rake.
