Looks like molten hot lava was smeared all over their wheels and side skirt.

You forgot headlight.

illest86 03-21-2014 08:01 AM

Looks like that new process where they dunk the entire wheel/skirt into a vat and pull it out covered in a new texture.

Shoulda stuck to carbon fiber. And I guess the days of painting body kits... With paint. Are over?

I'm well aware of what he did.

Are you aware of how hideous it is?

FIFY

It is closely related to a "Bowling Ball" paint job. Where they use a plastic bag while the paint is still sticky and blotch it around on it to give it that random design. Maybe if he had done the enitre car it wouldnt be as bad, but right now it is quite hideous.

This is one of those cases where no matter what paint or stickers you have on it, you lose horsepower.

R.I.P. FR-S. You didn't deserve to be treated this way.

dirtymax 03-21-2014 12:28 PM

I bet it would look pimp with some under glow:bellyroll:

Kimsey47 03-21-2014 01:21 PM

I love it! Helps my nearly unmodified car look much better! Kudos to owner!

XanRules 03-21-2014 02:22 PM

campy 04-20-2014 11:39 AM

I think this guy is on this forum. The interior trim is done up similarly IIRC.

It's actually flaming skulls. The lip, mirror covers, interior trim pieces, and misc bay pieces are all done as well now. The car does have red lights in misc spots. I actually tuned this car last month. Personally it's not my cup of tea I just leave my cars pretty visually stock but to each their own. *shrug*

Nope he isn't on the forum. I asked him again last night wen I saw him.

Turbo95eg6 04-20-2014 01:55 PM

Looks like someone at "Pimp My Ride" got ahold of it...

"Hey, these factory wheels look really neat! Let's fancy it up!"

1086 04-20-2014 01:56 PM

Hydro-dipped. There is a guy on a FB 86 group that posts it here and there to show what hydro dipping can do
