Did you lower the post limit for being able to give "Thanks"

Was looking at how to be able to thank some for their thread but I guess that would explain it.

On the topic of the Thanks button...why the hell can't I thank myself?! I can like my own statuses on Facebook like a douche, but why can't I do that here?

OMG this makes so much sense! I asked my husband about that and he just said that there should be a button at the bottom of the post...I thought I was going nuts or worse-- i thought i might be becoming...computer illiterate! whew.

the button appears after you've made a minimum number of posts. I can't remember the count, 10 maybe? but it appears automatically.
