The Second Annual Palms to Pines Canyon Run to Benefit Share a Bear, will be on April 12th, 2014. After a successful year we have merged with several leading car enthusiasts figures throughout Southern California. We will be meeting at Starbucks in Moreno Valley (12340 Day St., Moreno Valley, CA) at 08:00 AM. We will then begin with the drivers meeting at 09:00 AM and promptly begins are cruise up Palms to Pines Highway at 09:15 AM. We will be stopping at two locations for a photo shoot and rest stop. We will head down to the 44100 Jefferson St., Indio, Ca 92201 for a very special event that will benefit both West Covina and Corona Fire Departments' Share Bear program.

Your preregistration and a STUFFED BEAR will get you 2 FREE RAFFLE TICKETS. Stuffed Bear will be taken to the West Covina and Corona Fire Department. These toys allow firemen to comfort children when they respond to calls where families are displaced from their homes after a fire. We believe this to be a worthwhile cause and we are attempting to help as much as we can.

Their will be a live DJ for your entertainment, a Taco Guy and Drinks for that appetite, and finally Lots of raffle items that will vary from car to car! (Food and Drinks are not free so please make sure you bring Cash for food.) Raffle tickets will be available for sale on site! Any amount generated from taco, drinks, and raffle tickets will be going directly to the charity for more bears!

Congrats on the house. A purchase that just keeps getting further and further out reach for alot of Americans. I feel fortunate I was able to buy my place on my own without hand outs or family money. Took me 3-4 years to save for a down payment.

Hey All ^_^ first and foremost I want to thank each and every enthusiast not just for our awesome cars but for each and every awesome ride that we take pride in and especially to those who will be joining us for this super fun run and Charity event.

Just to let you know that if we get enough bears and if the two Fire Departments can't handle the volume, due to storage, I have come across an organization currently accepting donations and they are affiliated with the same program. They are called S.A.F.E.- Stuffed Animals For Emergencies, Inc. and there are two chapters here in So. Cal I can contact if we get an abundance of Happy Little Bears (more than the fire depts can handle). A chapter in Los Angeles and a Chapter in Long Beach. S.A.F.E. also donates to our Military ^_^

So please, every Bear counts. What breaks my heart is to see a misplaced child or one who is scared and traumatized when something happens and for them to be even just a bit comforted by something as simple as a Teddy Bear given to them by someone they'd see as a 'hero' (PD, FD, Military, etc.) brings a smile to my face and I hope it would you all too. So again Thank you to everyone who participates and LETS HAVE US A GOOD RUN!!!!! VIVA!

Same as my current one. 2.5 Perrin. I will switch to a 3 inch later on.

Jim at West Covina FD said he would pass the flyer around to the guys there, depending on their schedules some may show up for this, but it is not for certain I told them ALL are welcome that IT IS NOT just for FRS/BRZ it is for ENTHUSIASTS of all kinds -nods- I said heck even if the guys rode Harleys to come on and enjoy a nice run - we just ask everyone to respect one another and their surroundings and businesses.

Also some of my graduate and undergrads from Cal Poly may join us too - they are muscle car guys - Mustangs, I believe? And another if he shows has a WRX and may bring his ScoobieRoo buddies - so this should be a really fun run, just not sure if they all officially registered pffftt students XD I can't get them to turn in paperwork so yeah HA HA :paddle:
