I think they're referring to not being able to see any difference between the pictures.
With the lighting in the original image, the overcast, and the angle of the car, it just looks like shadowing on the back, and it's hard to tell that there is much of a difference since your mock-vinyl looks translucent. |
Awp it might be cause I did the mod with corel paint, and with some opaque blend but nevertheless it's viewable you can see where the vinyl goes.
|
Kay now you should see the stock image , and the mods fine.
|
Who cares? They all look hardly noticeable. I don't like the first Vinyl though if you're going to do it do it.
|
None of them, just like your other poll.
|
None of then makes the rear look any slimmer...

Hey buddy, posting your annoying polls in other subsections aren't gonna save you from getting criticized about your mind numbing ideas and poor sense of style. Take your trolling elsewhere.
|
I mean if you must, Vinyl A is the best looking imo.
|
Try Vinyl B with ONLY the trunk. Personally wouldn't do this.

Stock.
I feel like this is one of those "bored, modding for the sake of modding" kind of things. Do some red tail light overlay or something. Way better use of the money and makes the car look much better. |

Now what do you think doing red tail light overlay would be best? I wanted to do some vinyl work on the tail basically without having to add a rear spoiler, I might be lost, could be. But If I don't get any tips or hints from you guys those are the ideas i'm coming through and i've been all nite playing around with lines. It's not that I'm a stupid guy doing bullshit. |
none.

Is this some sort of conspiracy ? heh

Below is a post taken from another thread to help you. http://www.lastonehere.com/misc2012/IMG_1947.JPG http://www.lastonehere.com/misc2012/IMG_1954.JPG Process Prep clean Mineral spirits with nitrile gloves 3 light layers VHT NiteShade Red 3 passes heat gun in between each layer 1 Heavy layer VHT Niteshade RED Wet sand 1500 Wet sand 2000 5 layers Krylon clear coat 3 passes heat gun in between each layer 2 heavy layers clear coat Dry for 24 hours Wetsand 2000 grit Hand polish rubbing compound Wax tip: if you find specks of dust in between layers. do not touch it. let it dry a little bit more and with passes of the heat gun. then use Masking tape to pick off any specks of dust before proceeding to spray more layers. I might remove the wax and polish it with a portercable as i don't feel it is glossy enough. if all else fails I'll bring it to a shop for a coat of clear coat. |
+1 for red overlay. Looks great.
I think those vinyl's look tacky as fk. But if you like it/want it go ahead and do it. Its your car for a reason. Mod it how you want it. |
