Nice.
Coupes with BN and 326power wing looks so perfect. Can't wait to see what you have in store for this thing :) |
rice. all of it.
and a piss poor attitude. Nothing's wrong with Rota's or Eibach |
I see some people I know in those pictures lol
|
Under enough force in a crash any cast wheel would break, it's not a rota exclusive thing.
Also i would consider the eibach spring + stock shock a better ride than a stance coil. |
Meh I got cheap Sparcos, but they never broke when I slammed a wall or bent in potholes. Cheap to replace and have extra wheels.
|
You sound like a D-bag after one post...

Makes me wana build a S13

:P Honestly I started reading and thought, cool, someone's gonna do his own fab work, end up with something nobody else on here has.. Now I'm betting the final result will be slammed on coils, rocket bunny, and wide JDM wheels. |
So maybe I was exaggerating, but the use of rota, xxr, and other crap wheels is way too excessive on here!

While I think your old cars look interesting I would like to point out that the paint job looks super cheap, the body panels look super cheap, and nothing is really aligned right, so why are you against cheap wheels?
|
 This thread is going to be interesting... lol
|
It already is :D can't wait till everything comes in I can't afford over night parts from Japan so its going to take 3 weeksish? Just doing something a little different making that voltex diffuser work is a PITA gotta do a lot of cutting. Im making my own exhaust at work sometime soon but with 14 cars in the shop its kind of hard to get some work done -.-
No I will not have stupid wide wheels with overfenders and what not. What I got I think is perfect for the car 18x8.5+27 18x9.5+27. Its just so odd how you can't fit crazy wheels on this car then again I won't have enough power to spin them. Im sure im the only one that's making that voltex evo8 diffuser to work on my car. With the front lip I ordered from Japanland it will flow with the diffuser only thing im in a bind with is what side skirts to run. |
Nice! man I'm dying to build an s chasis. Definitely gonna have to save up for one soon.

That s13 looks sexy, nice work man.
Who cares if he doesn't like rota's, i'm on rota's and not even mad. |
The FRS/BRZ platform is surprisingly similar to the S chassis but stock for stock the FRS/BRZ will out handle it 10x.
Good luck with the build. |

Got rid of it because I had like 5 240's wanted something new. Instead of selling it I just could not sell it to some random so I just parted it out.

Dope s13 man I have one as well those wheels are sick
|
I agree with OP's point on Rota's and Eibachs.
No sense putting decent parts on stanced out, spray painted, mismatched bodywork junkers you're going to dorifto into a wall anyway... |
Can't speak for the other "fake" wheels.. Only if people knew who Xxr makes wheels for.. SMH
|
Sparcos are hella cheap lmao, made by OZ, weigh 18lbs each, won't cry if I break one.
|
Hi I'm new here. Excuse me while I get all elitist up in your forum.
You want to run $3,000 wheels, be my guest. I know how much it costs to rebarrel one multipiece wheel after it bent on a pothole. No thanks. I don't even feel like I need to touch on the juxtaposition of your suspension situation. Enough people have covered that trainwreck. Welcome to the forum, I hope you brought your flame suit with you from zilvia.net. You'll need it if you keep up the way you are. |
You commit to no fake wheels, but you bought stance coilovers? That's a bit contradictory...

Not trying to sound like a douche, but why are you trying to Frankenstein an evo diffuser onto your brz? Had one laying around I'm guessing? Lol

Most guys who I see modding a twin are going for individual taste, not in order to conform or be different. You find some similarities, but lots more differences. Staying NA or going FI. Different FI options. Aftermarket intake or stock intake. Stock springs, race springs, drop springs, or coilivers, LCAs or stock. Etc. Some have expensive name brand forged wheels. Some go with something that's affordable instead. Others stay stock. These aren't turning into Hondas, except that this is an easily modified tuner platform. The big difference is the quality of the community. If we refuse to become elitist, ricing, jerks, then it's all good. Start the whole "real wheels or gtfo", and tolerate such, then we're in trouble. Go with expensive forged JDM wheels or not doesn’t matter as long as you responsibly bought something tasteful that you wanted to put on the car. I'm on my phone so if I make mistakes, blame Sportsguy83 |
Good point
Although, I am not a fan of these looks with exception to the powder blue sileighty"when he first purchased it.
I can totally agree with the driftxx. Purchasing legit Japanese parts is commendable. With all of these copy cat company's Coming out with imitation parts, a lot of posers want to play with out paying. This is exactly why greddy BKed, HKS and others left the USA. This is a expensive hobby there is no way around this. People are harping on the look of these cars, But remember this is the guy who is buying the shit a lot of you haters cannot. So the next time you put a TRD sticker, Greddy or Rays enginnering emblem our you cars, remember it's this guy and 10-15% of others on this site who actually keep those company's going so you can do that. |
