Though I was very disappointed that I traveled all the way to Japan in hopes of picking up an STi front spoiler, and they didn't have one in stock! Womp, wommmmp. |

Really hate the big wing on our little BRZ. Reminds me of white trash rice. Unless of course the engine is super beefed, then maybe I could look the other way. Really should be laws against big wings on plain 4 bangers with no boost. |
No matter how much power you have, if you find yourself going "fast" (like over 80 mph or so) then you'll be happy that you had that down force. More power in this car just gets you to "fast" faster. Doesn't necessarily mean it can't use a giant wing. Most people either A) won't go that fast ever or B) don't have anywhere they can go that fast for that long of a stretch. That's probably another reason why these things are only available outside of the U.S. since most won't drive their cars purposefully (track). I actually enjoy driving fast pretty much everywhere, but for how long it takes me to get there, the wing isn't that purposeful. If I can get to speed faster, then yes, I'd definitely want the wing.

Let me just say, when I first saw the photos of the brz sti I was not a fan. I had the mind set of a overpriced brz with some aero tacked onto it.
It wasn't until I saw it in person I saw how special it is. The seats fit you perfect! The quality is bar none. Everything in this car has a purpose. |
