We are happy to be a part of this project. This is not just about FBM, but about our client/partner, who has been working so hard with us to achieve this goal.

I would like to thank RPS/GP(Owner of the car) for allowing us to be a part of this journey.

The setup consist of...

FBM stage 1 Base Turbo kit with upgraded turbo
FBM Short block (assembled by RPS/GP)
FBM/RPS tune

More details to come, but here is the slip :)

Believe it or not, this is pretty much the same setup you got in your car ;)

Base kit with the same short block and a bigger turbo. That sound familiar?

Can't tell you how excited we are about taking the car out. It most likely won't happen for another couple months.

I feel like it would trap higher with that much power. Although PR is at about 2,500 DA.

2500 DA meaning altitude?

The track is on the coast and really close to sea level.

Densisty Altitude (DA) is a way that people adjust ET and MPHs based on the conditions of the track that day. Track elevation, temperature, humidity and barometric pressure are used to calculate DA. I was watching the NHRA boys in the season opener this weekend, and they showed the DA for the event.

Wow.. He's brave launching the stock drivetrain on those slicks!

Frs300 02-13-2014 12:39 PM

he might as well get the 8.8 rear end and get on the list for the v160 lol

Dipstik-sportech 02-13-2014 12:47 PM

Slicks take up a bunch of the shock load due to the sidewall flex. That's why I bitch launched my car cause I'm on radials and didn't want to yard sale the start line.
