Repost. We've already smashed our collective heads against the wall over this one...

I think instead of "Fresh as F*ck" they need to have "Stupid as Hell" on the side :D

Ranatsu 05-04-2012 01:53 PM

There is already a thread for this... posted months ago.

Yep, it was an April Fools p/s!

SUB-FT86 05-04-2012 02:30 PM

I feel the same way that DuMa's pic of Jackie Chan feels toward this PS BRZ.

I wouldn't do it to my car but I respect it (if it were real)

MY current car is sitting on KW v1 knock offs(ST suspension)
and I did DROP my car to the ground, but after a week or so
I called it quits.

Maybe I am getting too old, but I like my car ride now
with 1-2 inch finger gap.

dookie11 05-05-2012 08:54 PM

OMG, there were so many of these FreshasFuck/Hellaflush/Stancethisandthat ppl/cars at the Toyotafest today. It's so gross and makes no sense to me. I can barely stand going over bumps and dips with my car that is lowered with like the most basic setup (Eibach springs and Tokiko shocks).

civicdrivr 05-05-2012 10:46 PM

Agreed. Sometimes one of those hellapoked cars actually looks good, but it just doesnt make any sense as to why people would do that type of thing to sports cars. Not to mention the insanely stretched tires look ridiculous.

But to each their own I guess.

The key is to find that right balance between style and performance.

Honestly what one man is doing to their car is of no concern to me. I know when I dont like something and move on without much thought. Just like when I was in the tC subculture, so many ugly wheels, but meh. I'm sure its going to be the same with this car too.

That's the Scion subculture, not the tC subculture. I'm sure we'll see plenty more "distasteful" modifications but mostly on the FR-S side of things I'm sure.

igorot 05-06-2012 12:04 AM

I say tC subculture, cause alot of the xB guys had it the right mindset. the tCs...not so much. with the number of tC owners in here, i wouldnt be surprised what crap we'll come across

dookie11 05-06-2012 01:42 AM

xA and xD owners are the crazy ones. Hella beaned out cars around here, yo.

Apparently you didn't have enough money for tires? Oh no wait, I think I see them. LOL, I didn't know they even made tires that low profile. Looks good though.

And I'm guessing my definition matches yours more than his. :)

Oh, there is a car in this picture! All I saw was the cottage cheese walking sloshing around in the background... :barf:

I'm function>form always.

Your car is (obviously) far from distasteful, it just has things I wouldn't personally do. That doesn't make your car "bad" or anything so no offense was intended.

What I would have done differently? Smaller wheels, no stickers on the window and higher ride height.

For a car in a car show I'd agree that your car is modified in a tasteful manner.

Also the respectful reply to criticism makes it more tasteful by association

Oh ok, I understand. I had to put the sticker on the car for this event to show I was a part of the show(trust me I hate stickers on cars) and the car was on air. Thanks for explaining what you meant also.

track_warrior 05-08-2012 12:17 AM

Im function over form as well it must be horrible to drive those pieces of shiat on a daily basis, they prob handle like shiat + they look like shiat , and are always scraping everywhere.

igorot 05-08-2012 12:47 AM
