KAR 01-26-2014 07:04 PM

woode 01-26-2014 07:15 PM

You will get better answers in the suspension section of the forum, that or just made fun of even more for lifting a sports car..

wlwarfield 01-26-2014 07:28 PM

thebus 01-26-2014 08:05 PM

Jive Turkey 01-27-2014 04:00 PM

ive also been looking for a way to lift the ride height

thebus 01-29-2014 06:44 PM

It won't happen until the summer if anything as I have a much bigger money pit.. But I will let everyone know what happens..probably going to end up with new coilovers w/resivors and possibly adjustability in the ride.. Idk I'm used to trucks cars are new game

Beyer Subaru 01-29-2014 06:47 PM

Maybe try talking to a coilover company that builds to suit like Fortune Auto?

thebus 01-29-2014 06:52 PM

Yah might go that route..still need I see what needs to be extended when lift is added, I don't want to go to high where I'm stretching everything to the max.. KAR Is going to kill me lmao.. Ill see you for the May run we'll get a group of 80s and tool around

Letty Ortiz 01-30-2014 04:18 PM

Hit up Nameless Performance.

There was a guy on here who made spacers for his stock suspension that lifted the car an inch or 2.

Edit: found it: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...hlight=spacers

This might also be of interest: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57564

thebus 02-18-2014 08:28 PM

The problem with spacers is that the stock suspension will probably not offer enough travel, I will be doing this eventually :D of course there's other things to calc, possible brake lines extended and other suspension bits

NYCsubaruBRZ 02-23-2014 01:55 PM

i put the largest profile tire i could fit with out rubbing.

i have 215/55/17 on the stock rims.

gives me some height so i dont plow snow with my front bumper.
it also rides over the bumps and crappy roads like a dream.

but i am craving about one more inch of lift. i might do that spacer that campy posted the link to

thebus 02-23-2014 05:34 PM

yeh the spacers will get you by however i wanted to run in the pine barrens so i will probably need more travel and something to soak up them bumps.. spring time depending on the LC funds i'll give it to a shop to go crazy with
