New 2013 limited 6mt for $25.5k...0% apr...Good deal?

I've been contemplating selling my 335i again. Could I do even better than that price (not including tax)?

SoCal909 01-23-2014 01:26 AM

Talk to Clint @HeubergerMotors

My 2014 was only a few hundred more than that, but IDK if he has any 2013s left.

And it was a limited? Hmm sounds like I can do even better then. Maybe 24k+tax since it's a 2013?

Yep mine is a limited.

I don't know if he has any 2013's left though!

His site says he has 7 '13s left

jkfranklin 01-23-2014 05:02 AM

25.5 is a fine price for the car.

I think Clint gives around the same price anyways. So OP this is a good deal.. as for getting it cheaper because it's 2013, I doubt that.

calidus 01-23-2014 09:51 AM

One important thing to remember is that 0% APR is only available on 2013, 1.9% is available on the 2014s. Also that is good deal, I payed $24,800 for my 2013 premium with a few accessories.

Was that the OTD price? Or was that before tax and financing?

SPCorBUST 01-26-2014 11:18 PM

Thats one hell of an offer, and I don't think it will get any better. For reference, I got what I thought was the best out of Subaru with 2.9% APR (I don't think they were giving anyone any higher) and 25.8k on a Limited MT. With tax I was at about 29k, but I put my deposit down on the car so it was about 28k.

JS + BRZ 01-26-2014 11:32 PM

Nice price. almost 3500 off the sticker. If you are ready, go for it. 0% apr makes it a no brainer.

strat61caster 01-27-2014 12:09 AM

Also consider that it's local, no worries about shipping accidents. The only reason I would pass would be mileage.

That was before sales tax and financing.

I've had trouble getting local dealerships to give me his 2014 quote on 2013's. It sucks I'd have to spend $1000 on delivery, otherwise buying from him would be a no-brainer.

Especially for the Limited model and at 0% APR to boot. This is what is generally referred to as "A screaming deal" or "a steal".

kbogarto 01-28-2014 07:17 AM

I bought my limited for 25,400 and 0%. It's a 2013 and they didn't have that deal until the 2014s showed up on the lot.

Wish I would've got mine at that price. Bought it used last month , after interest will pay more than you guys.

Hmm,
Is it me or by time you do all the little add ons like fogs, real head lights spoiler, etc... the BRZ prices out A LOT better. Plus none of this Pure Price BS! God I hate that, as I looked for 6 mos. to find a dealer who sold below retail for an xB I bought and ended up losing my butt on when I sold it a year later! (Maybe I have a chip on my shoulder still.) We own two MX-5's/Miata's 07 & 08 GT soft tops, the sales for the NC (2006 and newer) were good just like the first year for this car. Now that a lot of the newness is wearing off the sale prices will get better. Very clean used if you look long and hard come along too. Were looking for a white FR-S prefer the BRZ, because my better half wants a little more room than the MX-5 has.

$26k is net cost on a 2014 Limited 6MT and Subaru offers 2.9%; I'd take that deal on the '13 no question! I work for a Subaru dealer and I paid $26,412 for my no-accessories 2013 Limited 6MT. (before tax, title, registration fees)

idanvan 01-31-2014 02:31 PM

I think thats a pretty solid deal bud. But that's considering I paid 29 (before tax) on mine last year...:bonk:

SirBrass 01-31-2014 02:32 PM

I paid $29k on my brz limited before tt&l also

You do NOT want a salvage title unless it's for dedicated race car where you don't care about insurance.

yeah but there are those who dont care, and salvage could mean rear damage too, not as bad as frontal collisions. Maybe some frame damage.

Plus you can't get finance salvage title auto from a real bank or credit union.

Never buy a first year car because your so upside down within a year. Look at Chrysler PT Cruiser's. :bonk: I looked in Auto Trader and upside down owners are asking more for used 13's than a quote I got from dealer on a new 14. Limited. I told my wife we should wait until Sept. before we get serious. Good things come to people who wait. I set on a seller for 4 mos. before the seller realized they were not going to sale at their dream selling price. I pickup a two year old car with less then 3k on the clock for 10K than the seller paid new. The seller had two oil changes and two batteries installed. They lived high in the mountains and never drove in the rain or snow. Trust me it didn't have a spot of water on the undercarriage.

No rush here, time to :search:

In Canada some dealers are listing their 2014's online for $35,000.

Yeah right... what a joke

real86 02-06-2014 12:20 PM

I padi 27k, but it was end of year sale I got local dealer..

Flo 03-04-2014 01:28 AM

I am so close to buying a limited for $26500...

We had a nice ice storm and I am going out of town this weekend. I'm kind of going to be pissed if I missed the 1.9% financing deal. Subaru website says it ends today... Any bets on if they extend it?

^ this... also i might have missed it so if someone already mentioned this just disregard.

the 0% and 1.9% and the extended 2.9% is only available through subaru financing dept... also, you must put a certain amount down on the car to get those rates. so if you want one of those rates you have to do a loan shorter than i think 60 months and put down quite a chunk of change.

i just purchased a 2014 SWP BRZ Limited with all kinds of bells and whistles for under 27k but i wanted to do 0 down due to the fact that i was re buying after totaling my FR-S. thats how i found out about the percentage rate thing. anyway, just figured id point that out... gotta take more cold medicine now. :(

It seems like that maybe different in different areas. Subaru asks what about zip codes before giving the details. For my zip code both the 0% on 2013 BZR and 0.9% on 2014 BRZ loans says: "No down payment required."

I can bet the dealer is going to say I need some sort of down payment but its not Subaru Finance demanding it where I live.

Driften 03-17-2014 01:09 PM

Yesterday I bought my 2014 BRZ Limited for $26,750 at 48mo 0.9% and was offered it at $0 down. I put down $2000 but was told I did not have to. So under invoice deals are out there with 0.9% $0 down.

I got a quote at 26353 for a 2014 limited, 6 spd with 0.9% apr (Subaru financing deal expires 3/31/14). I'm thinking about pulling the trigger but I don't know if I should wait until the 2015 refresh since I'll be traveling for work up to 3x later this year for weeks at a time :iono:

Tank 03-18-2014 11:37 AM

I got my FRS used for $20k, 2.89% through an FCU with $5k down. $250/mo

I'm still a newbie to the FRS, but I'll throw in my input.

Having been into BMW's for a long time, it's a trade off for sure.. It depends if you want the comfort, smoothness and refinement of the BMW, or the lightweight agility of the BRZ/FRS. It's more of a "what aspects of the car are important to you?"

I had looked into used 335i's as well, but passed because of the potential upkeep costs past 100k miles (turbo's). That and the cheaper aftermarket for the FRS/BRZ was very enticing. I wanted a car that I could make my own.

An interesting pro to the FRS... People / traffic seem to be much nicer to me when I'm driving the FRS than the BMW.

I'm hoping to be with the ft86 platform for a very long time. So I hope these cars stand the test of time.

deadwolfbones 03-18-2014 11:48 AM

Got my FR-S used (16.5k miles on it, 1 lessee before me) for $20k w/ $10k down, 1.99%, $199/mo payment. :happyanim:

amazingbrz 03-22-2014 07:14 PM

damn makes me wish i waited on mine, i believe i got the limited 2014 for 27595 with 1.9 financing for 48 months

I would get on that deal if i were you

robwbright 03-22-2014 07:38 PM

My Limited 6MT was $27,100 @ 1.9% back in early December.

kberkel 03-22-2014 09:36 PM

You guys got some deals

I'm getting a BRZ limited on Monday, 25.9k for 10k miles on a 2013.. dealer would not drop a penny off. At least it's under KBB, i've heard some good deals in other states
