They're made by Buddy Club

I have them and they are awesome. Best Christmas present ever. Those are the Europe spec lights that are pictured. The ones I have don't have the yellow in them. They are all red.

Imma let you finish, but Buddy Club taillights are the best taillights of all time lmao. Sorry had to troll back.

Honestly I was very tempted to get toms but they look a bit "flat" to me.

Eh, if I wanted Lamborghini tail lights I would've just bought a Lamborghini :D

djmm 01-23-2014 04:23 AM

All of you were wrong. Best tail lights are the stock ones.

Atropine 01-23-2014 04:23 AM

I only want these if they can keep that "OEM" look...you know the look that has tear drops within it...and by "tear drops"...I mean condensation.

Seriously, those look awesome...

@TOTO_86 +1 great video...have to see them in action to appreciate them

If it's condensation you seek, you'll definitely find it here. ;)

That is a shame :(

djmm 01-23-2014 08:00 AM

Is condensation specific to the brand of OEM lights, or ALL lights have this problem?

I got a bit of condensation too when I first put mine in. Turns out that the gasket shifted while I was putting them on and left a gap in one corner that moisture could get in.

Took the tails back off, repositioned the gasket, and put them back on making sure the gasket was in the correct spot. Haven't seen condensation since, but just to be sure I am going to get some 3m adhesive and seal the gasket to the ridge on the back of the tail lights here soon.

All can have this problem. Seems to depend on the install and the stars and the position of the moon. :-) there's a diy on making upgraded gaskets. Can't say if they actually work better

ericmpena 01-23-2014 09:40 AM

I wanted Buddy's Club tails until TOMS came out with their clear tails. (Wasn't a fan of the red TOMS)
TOMS style matches the BRZ's headlights so well....I was sold on them as soon as they released.

If I had an FR-S then I would've went with Buddy's Club.

FRSTRM 01-23-2014 09:45 AM

I have these on a Firestorm - I get crazy compliments and everyone wants to buy them off of me.

xRavenFRSx 01-23-2014 10:00 AM

I really like the look of the Buddy Club tails. But my standards for a "clean" build are that the car has to look like something youd buy from the dealer. And although they look badass, they dont look like something Toyobaru would have put on their car. I think im leaning towards TOMS.

Yeah... in candy red apple... I like the stock but it's just too much bling bling chrome for my taste.. I'm getting toms or candy my lights..

OP, you are in NSW. there is a few places you can get the lights from. Troy at Prospeedracing (if he still has these in stock). or Garage88 at eastern creek would be able to get you a set most likely.

Eric@ptuning 01-24-2014 04:41 PM

We also sell them here at Ptuning and there in stock

I've got Valentis, and I'm honestly torn between Tom's, Valentis, and the BCs. Oh, and I have had condensation issues in one light, and intermintent LED problems in the other. (only when super cold? hm.) Anyhow... I would say if you're putting a light in the back of your ZN6, better supaaahhsealit
