Badge should be renamed "Lolrepairs" instead of Luxury. Fuck BMW. I see so many broken down on the side of the road, lol. I'd never own one because I'd go bankrupt as soon as the warranty runs out.

No different than Mercedes selling the same car with a sporty front end and a more luxurious front end. BMW is moving towards more of a luxury brand and less of a sports brand every year.

Wasn't that always the gist? Sporty but luxurious cars?

That was the gist with a higher priority on sporty, but now it is making luxurious cars with a little sporty.

I hear you...I was sad the day she left the 3 series.

She started in 95 and her last was an 04 keeping my #1 fav (estoril blue) an extra year. The 04 was my 2nd fav she had.
Her reason was the suspension was too stiff the older she got so she wanted something smother with balls. That 650 is huge but that engine is too.
I'm working on her though.
they were also all convertibles. Stepdad likes her to have a drop top where he goes for the land yachts (760).

And honestly we could have fun with E36 or E46 M cars. Granted it would mean weight reduction and lots of little tweaks. They're still good platforms, just too many unnecessary gizmos on USDM cars...

It's a new way they are showcasing their packages. Modern, Sport, Luxury, M. So it does have more meaning then to what most people think. Since all their trims look near identical, I guess this allows people to know which one you bought. Lexus does something similar with their F-Sport, or F badges.

WTF, this is one hell of ugly car. Why the hell they cut split the front bumper to half like a wide opening mouth of some weird animal. The top front grill is still ok. With the trend of weird design like lexus's grill and this new bimmer's bumper, the twin is one of the best looking design car I have ever seen for long time on the street today.

Even the Ms are overweight pigs now. BMW is becoming the Buick of Europe. They have discovered holes in the fenders are cool.

Except BMWs come with a much higher maintenance cost.

I don't think it looks bad, but at the same time it doesn't make the car look any better.
The M however looks amazing on the car.

Don't underestimate how much people love that badge.

I don't scoop dog poop anymore.. really I don't. I just walk outside and put little BMW badges on each turd and people just show up and offer me money for them. The dog has made me rich. I bought my FRS with the money I made selling dog turds with BMW badges on them.

I can deal with sport or luxury. Makes more sense. The sport suspension or soft ride. The other two are dumb.

M for marketing genious. Not a proper M car. Same goes for f sport, amg pack or s line.

Good thing is all of them are removeable

Those "Luxury" badges are going to be hot sellers at AutoZone in a year or so. It's the perfect addition to the "fender vents".

I appreciate my little e30 more and more. Great little car. I daily drove it all last year and only had to replace the front pads/rotors (but I also do preventative stuff pretty often). Oh, and of course it's wonderful to drive.

Jesus that "Luxury" badge is tacky. A poster above me got it exactly right, that looks more like something awful from a GM car.
