Just curious, what's your alternative to turn signal location?

A few options out there, Spyder headlights have integrated turn signals and such :w00t:

Freeze2196 01-17-2014 10:50 PM

I have looked all over for these, I can only assume they are not being mass produced. Only ever seen them on RB cars may be some kind of option with the kit.

These should be released soon

http://www.ml24.net/products/scion_f...ght_vents.html

I may just buy the fog light bezels cut them up and fiberglass my own.

:barf:Sadly it has a light on it

frslee 01-18-2014 06:56 PM

If you're creative, why not make it on your own? You can make a hole where the fake mesh is and route a pipe to brake.

I really don't want them as break ducts, but i may route them to the engine bay to cool as ill be going with a front mounted turbo.

I was looking at a ready made option as i really dislike the hassle of going custom but if its necessary then i guess ima do it

I'd like to do a set of these as well

2SeeKU 01-19-2014 06:33 PM

I'm after the exact same thing as well. I've replaced my lights with the ones from a BRZ so have no need for the indicator.

BMHumanic 01-20-2014 03:53 AM

These are in fact a part of the v1 Rocket Bunny kit that only a few people got. Namely the people that got the kit directly from Miura-san rather than a 3rd party like Evasive Motorsports. I talked to StayCrushing about these before and he confirmed they're from TRA_Kyoto. The only person I know of to have these on a non-RB is Kalen Gray with the Jet86, and he said it took him like 6 months of hard searching to get a hold of some.

Yamajee 01-20-2014 04:28 AM

SMS you have two options IMO.

Either cut out the mesh in your current ones on your bumper and route a pipe directly to the engine bay or get the JDM ones without the fog lights and route the pipes to the engine bay. I've seen a guy removing the fog lights and it looked good, I was planning to do this once I go FI.

Custom fab one then. I think that would be your best bet.

APR Performance makes them both for the FRS and BRZ (in carbon fiber).

Yeap, kind of hard to look different without going all out.

Pretty happy with it being still rather oem looking, just how I like it, discrete and functional when I get around to the brakes.

stevo_12v 01-24-2014 08:25 AM

These would work well with this. There was another kit I saw, a couple of months back, was around $300 USD, can't seem to find it now

swift996 01-24-2014 09:19 AM

@s2d4 do you have more pics of your car (sorry I know that's not the topic) but when I first saw the twins, your look is similar to what I was envisioning.

SmsAlSuwaidi 01-24-2014 12:28 PM

@s2d4 custom made ?

Lol, I've had to repeat both jesse streeter and kra kyoto twice now..

His name is all over the internet and he has his own website too, google him if you are unsure.

FRSfan111 01-25-2014 12:44 AM

Do you drive ur car in the streets? If so what do u use for turn signals? Is that a gt86 using brz headlights/turn signals? Or a brz with a gt86 front bumper?

Yes.
It's a GTS86 with BRZ headlights.

It plugs straight into the indicators on the the brz headlights.

MrYeahSports 03-20-2014 03:40 PM

I got the spec d headlights on preorder and wanna delete my factory turn signals as well with something like this. will these support a foglight or just for using as a duct?

Khyron686 05-23-2014 02:09 PM

Any options for buying these? A lot more lights are using integrated signals and cleaning up the lower bumper is a good option (no interest in fog lights)

Finally I find this air duct! I just messaged Jesse. If you don't mind me asking. What was the price and estimated lead time?? You are so lucky! Thx

8R6 08-24-2014 10:52 PM

brake. not break. brake.

spelling might not be important to some people, but fuck. if you're a car guy, at least spell basic car parts correctly.
