XXR535 18X8.75 +35

Hey there,
I have been searching for any photos of XXR 535 18X8.75 +35 GOLD. Does anyone on the forum possibly have these on their car? I am interested in them and about to order them but i am torn between them and xxr 527.

DAEMANO 01-16-2014 01:51 PM

Looked for a ton of 535 pics and they are few and far between. Eventually had to just Photoshop the hypothetical setup.

The only gold ones I found on the net were these 16's on a blue Civic

I was hoping there would have been more members with them. Looks like most people went with the xxr527. Since i am new to buying wheels it makes me a tad bit nervous to buy wheels and not being sure how they are really going to look on the ride in that size and offset.

Not too many have gone for the design, I think a lot of people do not like the look of that particular 5 spoke design on the twins :iono:

As far as I can tell, the 527 is at least 2 years older than the 535. The 535 is a 2013 design. Also 10 and 7 split spokes came in fashion again, so 5 spokes were seen as more traditional. Where the 535 is modernized is with its concavity and lip/flange spoke design.

I love the look of the 527 but the 535 caught my eye. I am in the market to order my wheels now. I saw a 17" black et on here seemed cool but they were a little hard to see in the photos I am leaning towards the 527 since i know what they look like in person.

527's are hot. I have yet to see any '86 where they didn't look great. Can't go wrong with either in my book.

I love the look on those 527, but part of me wants to just take a chance on the 535

NICE! thank you! hahah i have been struggling to find them

WorldRallyBlueBRZ 01-17-2014 01:36 PM

I think im going with the 535's after seeing that

DAEMANO 01-18-2014 11:02 AM

Wow thanks!

Any idea of the specs on the wheels and tires? Assuming they're 18x8.75 et 35 with 225 width tires, but would love confirmation.

Ok first, sorry for my english. This is not my first language :scared0016: i ask the question for the wheel and waiting for a respond!

WorldRallyBlueBRZ 01-18-2014 01:24 PM

What question did you ask? I didn't see one in the thread. BTW i appreciate you finding those pics for me. I feel i searched every where fort them and couldn't find a single photo

Because is not on this forum, i find the picture on a french site..

Make sure you post some pictures once you get them on. The gold 535s look great on the wrb and the 5 bolt setup is far more desirable than the 10 of the 527s. Good luck.

Yep I did run them in the matte black. I know a ton of people wanted the side profile. I was going to get the car professionally photographed but it just never got done. Than I bought an Evo :bonk:. I was definitely skeptical about getting 5 spoke at first but I am SO glad I did. These wheels looked great. I loved the concave look as well. I definitely recommend them to anyone especially for the price. NLMotoring had some great prices for them.

WorldRallyBlueBRZ 01-20-2014 11:59 AM

Thanks for the input. I made up my mind on them. I will be purchasing the 535 very soon

Now i need to make up my mind on tires. I am torn between 225/40/18 and 235/40/18
I have looked on the forum at other members set up and i talked to Tire Rack. Tire Racks said the 225/40/18 will be fine. But im not too sure about that bit of stretching i see in photos..

Sivtec 02-21-2014 05:22 PM

I have been asked quite a lot and I know some of you wanted a side front profile pic so I found this. Hopefully this helps some of you.

What size are your tires?

DAEMANO 02-23-2014 01:35 AM

Thanks man, your pics are really helping me sort out my street wheel decision.
