Borderline/vandalizing

What the f**k is up with society. It irritates me so much that people would have the decency to mess with my car. People have tried to steal my plate re locator, they've tagged on my car, drew penises ding more doors, scratches ect. And I'm pretty sure most of you guys have had worst. I mean don't throw the, owe you must have some rich parents or some shit to buy this car, well i don't. I'm a welfare child and i lived in a 1 bed room 1 living room apartment growing up with 4 people. I've moved schools 5+ times and city's as well. My parents saved up and got a nice home. In fact, my mom bought her first home to live in at the mid age of 50. I'll be honest, we were on well fare, food stamps, gov checks you name it. But i never went around messing with what i didn't have. I just saw @vincent201089 and it literally blew me up.

#944_10_Series_FRS 01-11-2014 12:18 AM

Some Jerk(s) keyed my car on the right hand side from the front fender all the way to the back. The thing is I did not know anything until I came out to wash my car and saw it. I usually go to that side of my car.

Lucky for me that I was able to buff most of these out by using rubbing compound.

n2oinferno 01-11-2014 12:22 AM

Honestly... that sort of stuff hasn't really happened to anyone I know. Product of the environment/area you live in?

I'm a fairly firm believer that most people are good. Unfortunately there are a LOT of people, so even a million assholes is a small percentage.

N1rve 01-11-2014 12:24 AM

Damn that sucks. I would file a police report and try to buff it out with rubbing compound.

Well, Vincenttam, I really don't have any insight as to what is ailing society.

It sounds like you have been through some rough times but now you are on your way to better times......

There always have been low lifes out there and there probably always will be.

I reckon the best we can do is to protect our loved ones and possessions the best we can and get on with enjoying our lives.

How? I don't even know when did it happen? my car is parked in the garage only except when I go to work.

FRSBRZGT86FAN 01-11-2014 01:40 AM

Maybe they just love the beauty of the car so much it makes them think irrationally?

vincent201089 01-11-2014 02:16 AM

I have no idea what I should say.

This is what the police lady told me this afternoon when she made the report. "Many people they just dont know how other people spend a lot of money on something. Car, house, they dont know how much those people spend time to take care of what they have to work a lot to buy it".

My car got keyed all over the hood, side door, rear panel. Took one of my windor visor off, took one and sticked the other in my exhaust. And let me tell you this, I parked my car in my garage at my apt (at that time I didnt lock the door yet). I just dont know what kind of neiborhood it is. Just have no idea!

Luis_GT 01-11-2014 02:16 AM

Some people just hate on others people cars... even if they don't know them... 1 thing I learned was, you should never, EVER park far away, that will make people think you love your car so much, they know you'll get pissed off if they scratch your car... I had a BMW for 5 year, and parked it between clunkers most of the time and never got a door ding or keyed... I drove my dad's M3 a couple of times to uni, and parked it between clunkers, and never got a ding... and so far, I've parked my FRS in tight spots between clunkers, and so far no dings or scratches *knocks on wood* and the cars have changed since I parked it.

This is an interesting concept... I think I will adopt this except try my best to find two decent cars that I know owners would care for. Not very hard in my area, which is nice. I definitely think this is a product of the areas that we live in. Living in a fairly affluent suburb, these things rarely are spoken of. Only thing I'm afraid of is door dings (from careless people) and the below average driving skills of people who insist on driving cars that are much too large.

Try to piece together a story. Like some estimations.

This one time...I parked far away...a tow truck tried to take off with my FRS.

Agreed with this. I know friends that have had Evo's and M3's that they parked alone and far away only to have their cars keyed and such. This is the exact reason I never park my car far away and alone because your just inviting haters to destroy your car. Not to mention possibly the lack of witnesses so its much more easier to get away with these acts as opposed to more cars and people in the middle of a crowded parking lot. I've been parking in between cars and never had any problems. I know parking in the middle of cars can still be prone to dents caused by reckless people but for me I think the chances are smaller getting dinged up rather than leaving your car for bait for the haters parking far away.

I always try and park at the end of a row where there is a concrete curb on one side so at least one side is protected and try to park next to nicer cars tha took like people take care of as well. I live in an area where there is nice spots, many some really not so nice spots, lol.

FRSure 01-12-2014 12:02 AM

I usually park a bit further in the middle. There are still cars there , but a lot less. I just don't get why inconsiderate jerks mess up our cars. Many people don't understand that we work HARD to have nice things.

KelvinBRZ 01-13-2014 06:04 AM

my car got keyed a month ago.. $1800 in body shop repairs. I'd gladly key the guy's face if I found out who he was and torture him for a bit. :mad0260::evil:

This reminds me of one time when my friend plastidipped a penis on my car. I was furious because not only did it happen at a college campus, but he did it because he thought it was funny, and it wasnt. it was embarrassing and it was straight vandalism. i was pretty mad, thus he did it the second time with only this time it was a heart.

Attachment 63462

At least it was plastidip, so it came off. But needless to say, a lot of people have no idea that the things they do to our cars isn't just a simple fix and I firmly believe that they just do it because they can get away with it and they leave us with the burden of thought of "what might happen next to our cars?"

GhostRai 01-15-2014 12:46 AM

I've never had my car vandalized (we live in a nice neighborhood in Canada) but near my school when its snowing I see younger students (like 14yrs old) draw penises and swear words on the cars at the parking lot and it pisses me off. Atleast its not permanent but still vandalism nonetheless

some one keyed my moms driver door on her 2010 lexus Rx350 with somthing very sharp from door edge to door edge to the bare metal on christmas eve as she was buying supplies for the christmas party she has for our family. she checked around when she saw it and she was parked fine, not in anyone else's parking spot or double parked etc. some people are so jealous or just stupid.

Someone opened their door really hard and dinged my car. It's hard to the point where it's dented the flow line of my rear fender...

Are you sure this is not just the work of one person who has it out for you?

5hairpins 01-17-2014 10:32 AM

When you are parking, NEVER EVER park next to a car that has a sunshade in the back or looks like little kids ride in it regularly. Always look in the back seat of every car you park next to for traces of rugrats. I got dinged by my co-worker's kids the first month I had my car.

Good point!

When most mothers come out to the parking lot from shopping, with a screaming baby/toddler, and swings her vehicles back door open to load up her offspring ....... your car is the least of her considerations .... :(

Sigh, today in a matter of 1 hour when i got off of work, and went to the gym; someone lit up a cigarette and put it out on the hood of my car. At first i was like, "oh maybe it's just some asshole not watching where he's flicking the ash off." Nope, there was 1 circular ash mark and smear lines right after it. My car smelled like cig smoke during the drive home. When i got home i threw some water on it and wiped it with tissue paper. Fortunately there was no damage on the clear coat. I think my next upgrade is going to be a security cam. Any suggestions?

sweetfrs 01-22-2014 06:32 AM

back when i had my little corolla s, someone ended up door dinging it all over like multiple times for no reason, and then rear ending me or something and just put my car through hella and back. i have no enemys(that i know of). and when i asked my work for security camera footage they said they don't work. i had to pay $2,200 out of pocket because i didn't want it to go to car fax. six but i mean i sold it and ended up with a badas$ FRS !!!

I think the Japanese are like that because they have a (great) monistic society with honor being a centuries old core value (it's too bad some of them are cruel to dolphins). A lot of people here do not have respect for others, no values, or lack a moral compass. Plus nowadays nobody takes ownership of their actions, they'd rather lie or play the blame game.

I attribute this to irresponsible people that should have never had kids to begin with. They are creating self replicating degenerative forms of cretins/subhumans. Until we start being the best people we can be instead of worrying about sneakers, stupid celebrities, stealing iPhones and getting over with the least amount of work the USA is doomed like every other great society before us.

PS because actors, athletes, and musicians get paid millions simple materialistic morons worship them. Instead, it should go to scientists to cure cancer, hunger, AIDS, diabetes, ignorance, fossil fuel replacement, environmentalists, teachers -the people that work for the betterment of mankind should be praised. Not to say there's no room for entertainers but come on people, the Kim Ks and Beibers of the world are overpaid and don't add value to society.

Somebody kicked two dents on my right door and one on my left. Being the head of a company, I seem to get my car vandalized every once in a while ☺. But that's what insurance is for. I look at it this way, if somebody messes with my car, it probably means they're living a sad miserable life who have no respect on society nor themselves and are jealous of my accomplishments, so I tend not to let little things like this bother me because that's what they want. Let karma do its part. As long as it drives the same I could care less

A few years ago while at work, a man and his daughter came into my store and asked if I knew who drove "That silver VW over there" , as it turned out, it was my jetta he was talking about. He explained how he was teaching his daughter to drive (learners permit) and she hit the gas instead of the brake when parking and ding'd my bumper. We went out to look at the damage, my bumper was scuffed and misaligned. I copied their insurance information and they went on their way. I was sort of shocked at not only the man's honesty but the example he set for his daughter. I never made an insurance claim, figuring it would probably raise his rates.
