I like the Video I think it flows great with the Music haha. Nice Videography anyways :)

Sub"d for more pricing

It's been a long time since a Japanese company has modded a car just for the hell/PR of it. Really reminds me of what was happening back in the 80s. Love it.
|
I guess the TRD prices can be justified by the sheer amount of manpower and testing with tools and facilities. Cost of R&D and testing must be spendy!
|
Fuuuuuuuhhhh.
|
Any idea what that fluro stuff is they are putting on the canards, and rear quarters?
|
Woah, talk about a ram air feed. No air filter necessary o.O

Those front fenders... ::drool::

What car!!! Wonder how much power and how high it revs! Toyota needs to produce it. I love how Japanese improve on products. Germans can't do this. GT-R, IS-F, now this. Hope something will go to production.

The ones I'm really interested in are the
TRD Camshaft TRD ECU I'd really like to see the dyno plot on this! |

they do that for test aerodynamics. seeing where the airflow really is especially when the car is shifting directions really fast. |

I can't begin to describe how much I want this. Or at least some of it. I love that TRD is doing real aerodynamic testing, I really want to see what they've done under the car. There was a brief shot under the car in the video about a year ago, but it looks like they have done a lot more in the aero department with this latest version. That rear diffuser looks hellafunctional.
I know this is just being used as a test-bed, but I would do ALL the aero bits, including the hood and front "ram air(?)" scoop. It looks like all the air going through the front is channelled either into the engine, or through various radiators then out the hood, with no air going under the car, or into the engine bay even. Does the entire assembly act as the front bumper beam (at least I didn't see a bumper beam anywhere, looks like a new one at the rear though)? Internal engine modifications? I can't afford them right now, so while it's great to see TRD working on more power, I can afford aerodynamic bits one piece at a time, but not pistons and labour. I don't even want to guess what the cost would be to change pistons, con rods, cam shafts, bearings, etc, etc. Cheaper to make the car lighter and more slippery through the air at the moment I think. Power can come later. The TRD catalogue has some of the things on the Griffon, but not the bits I'm really interested in. I don't think the first Griffon iteration had a square set up for rims and rubber. I thought it was a typo at first, but they do look square in the video. I think there were 3 different rims in the video, none of which were the Volk ZE40's. But the mention of them really has me wondering what bronze ZE40's on a black car would look like. I think I'd prefer to go with 18x8.5 45 with 245/35-18 all around though. Toyota / TRD – if you're listening. Please make these parts available in North America, once all the testing is done. I WANT! |

I love how Trd keeps evolving their Griffon car. |
Now all we need them to do is release the parts.
|
I don't care about anything else on that car, just give me that front bumper, NOW!
|
Are the intake duct and hood available TRD parts?
|
I just love that rear bumper, diffuser and center muffler...
