anyone watches this show on discovery? canada's WORST driver

i shake my head in disbelief how some of these people got their license in the first place, and are still alive after "driving" for number of years

some are utterly scary

i also find questioning myself if i would be able to pass some of their challenges........would definitely like to try out

it's sad that my husband doesn't think i'm worthy of being nominated for the show lol

If you ever needed proof that our licensing standards are pretty lax.... just venture onto the DVP, 401, Steeles, Finch, etc.

I don't find Toronto that bad but when I have to go up to Brampton I'm ready to get out of my car and start fights. I don't know what's going on up there but it's ridiculous.

Every time I go to Brampton I see the most ludicrous car accidents. Last time I watched a guy waiting to turn left at a controlled intersection rear end a goddamn yellow School Bus. The biggest, brightest fucking thing for half a mile in any direction and the dumbfuck drives right into it. Then he gets out of his car and stands around like the dumbfuck he is without even turning his hazards on. People proceed to line up behind him thinking he'll be moving when the light turns green.

I don't take my BRZ there, if I have to go to Brampton I take my company car.

OMG, so sorry to hear. I hope, whenever it happened, that you are OK.

There should be mandatory re-testing of your vehicle license. At LEAST every 10 years or even 5. The roads are filled with Canada's worst driver(s)! We all know people that could be on that show (friends/family)...just imagine how many we don't know!
There are also much more strict driving tests in other countries and should be adopted here....including emergency accident avoidance, and winter driving (ice/snow conditions)...which can be replicated as they do on the show.
It makes me shake my head every day when I drive down my street, that has vehicles parked on both sides, which is normal, and has PLENTY of room for 2 vehicles to pass each other going opposite directions.....but one of the vehicles ALWAYS STOPS!!!!! If you can stop on the street...without moving over (because you don't have to!)...then there is OBVIOUSLY room to keep DRIVING STRAIGHT!!!! WHY ARE THEY STOPPING???? they would definitely fail the "eye of the needle" challenge!!

also think since we live in canada that everyone should learn how to drive in winter

just took an advance winter driving class on saturday, and wish everyone would go through that, and be tested on it before getting a license

the rain turned the courses into pure ice.....my poor car was sliding, and i had my foot on the brake
might post a video of trying to go around cones, and drifting and sliding at 10km/h

One of the guys on the show lives within 10 mins from me...

from burnaby I have seen him on the road before. He really really can't drive

If they can't be forced off the road, could we at least tag them like sharks off the coast of Australia? If they are within ~2KM of you and travelling more than 40km/h you should receive a warning message on your smart phone.

It's the responsible thing to do.
