Please DO NOT try to steal anything you see on my car or anyone's car!!!!

Got out from the mall (Parked my car in the parking structure of Westfield Main Place, Santa Ana. ) and I could clearly saw there was something wrong with my license plate relocation. I walked closer to my car and noticed that some idiots tried to take/steal it from my car. Dude couldn't do it but he made some scratches on my front bumper.

My car has a blackvue on it after some motherfuckers at my neighborhood decided to scratch all over the front hood, side door and rear panel.

I get home and take a look at the records I had today.

Here is the story.
-Around 16:14, a new model black WRX/STI (no front plate) passed my car and the driver starred at it.
-He parked the car 1 spot next to me. He went out, looked around and got in front of my car (at the plate) and tried to untie it. He tried but couldn't do it so he walked back to his car/talked to his girlfriend, walked back to my car and tried to do it again with no luck.
-He then walked to his front bumper, where his plate should be, I think, did somthing, idk and his girlfriend walked out, looked around, chatted with him.
-They got in the car and ran away. Everything happened in 2-3 minutes.

End of the story.

Come on guys. This is 2014. You really wanna do this shit right in front of your girl? Go fuck your self, bro. You guys could clearly see that a WRX/STI. Your car is a lot more expensive than ours. If you couldn't afford a relocation kit to make your car look sport, don't even think about driving your sporty car any more.

Btw, I'm uploading these clips on so you guys could see. If your recognize the guy in this video, please tell him stop doing these fucking things.

One more thing, do you know any WRx/STI 4rum (especially socal)? I wanna post this on their sites!!!

RojerLockless 01-09-2014 03:39 AM

Punch him in the nuttsack!

1slowfrs 01-09-2014 03:39 AM

Damn what a tool.. He probably couldn't afford it. His money goes out to car payment/ insurance/ girlfriend LOL

Probably should post on nasioc SoCal section and get this scum bag.

N1rve 01-09-2014 03:45 AM

Wow. That's terrible. I have a license relocator too. Kinda worried someone would try to steal it so I put some loctite on the threads of the screws holding the plate and plate holder.

If I wanted to remove my plate, I would need to cut the plate in half in order to gain access to the screws behind the plate that attaches the plate holder to the tow hook adaptor.

cdo221 01-09-2014 04:03 AM

People seriously have no integrity or respect these days. I feel for you.. Did your video get the plates? If you did, you should bring it up with the insurance or something. They'll go after them for vandalism... It ain't cheap to repaint a bumper.

Spinning Sushi 01-09-2014 04:09 AM

Now this makes me nervous since I live so close to Main Place...

is yours the grimmspeed one? i have that one and it uses allen wrenches of 2 different sizes i believe, along with needing a large socket to get the fixture out of the toe slot. fair deterrent for an unprepared thief.

I could buff it off, didn't get into the paint.

Yes. This guys is an idiot, he only could turn the plate itself, not the hold thing that goes into the frame.

merino_frs 01-09-2014 04:33 AM

This makes me sick!! Good thing you cought that in camera. Hopefully that fat bastard gets caught. What goes around comes around.

Spinning Sushi 01-09-2014 04:37 AM

Jesus all this for a front mount? How cheap can this guy be? Its not like they are expensive, he can easily get it seeing as though hes an STi owner or spoiled rich kid. Condolences on the scratches.

Atropine 01-09-2014 07:53 AM

Can you turn this video into the police?

Maybe they can get his license plate number?

Shit, they give us tickets for running stop lights with less evidence than this.

GTHachiRoku 01-09-2014 08:12 AM

Good grief. I hope he gets called out on this.
What dash cam do you use?

SloS14 01-09-2014 08:37 AM

I want to see this guy get in trouble. Like....a lot.

DarkSunrise 01-09-2014 09:00 AM

Hope you catch this guy. Lowlife assholes like him need to learn their lesson.

Seriously ? Go get a freaking job, how in the hell do you have a GF and be that tool both at the same time ?

I cant imagine a girl want to be screwed by that guy, at the same time have to work to feed him.....jesus ...what has America become?

PStaff716 01-09-2014 10:01 AM

Wow what a fucking loser. Dude's saving a few bills so he can supersize his value meal on the way home...

And in front if your woman? Any chick I fuck with would never speak to me again if she witnessed that. Hell I would kick someone's ass if I saw them stealing something off a wrx, let alone an '86..hurts to know those guys don't give a shit about us or our cars

zc06_kisstherain 01-09-2014 10:11 AM

I would report to the police regardless since his face is very recognizable.

kodyo 01-09-2014 11:53 AM

In last video, can you make out any license plate details in original raw video?

I have a go pro and was able to make out a license plate when somebody did a hit and run on another car. Called and told cops, doubt anything came of it.

Wes 01-09-2014 12:00 PM

Kind of glad it wasn't another frs/brz owner that did it. But wow this fat ***got is an idiot, he thinks he can pull that off? That shit is torqued in and without a any tools I don't think anyone can take it off by hand.. I'm gonna keep an eye out and see if I can ever see him around.. such a low life.

SloS14 01-09-2014 12:04 PM

If you put forth a little effort, I see little-to-no difficulty of finding out who this guy is in the next 24 hours. Car guys have car friends, car people use forums. Best of luck to you.

Could you upload a raw version of the 1080p somewhere?

Synack 01-09-2014 12:09 PM

More than likely the police already know who he is (previous booking) and a facial match at the station compared to the high quality version of the video likely wouldn't take very long at all.

humfrz 01-09-2014 12:12 PM

Maybe he was thinking about buying one for his car and just wanted to get a closer look at one and see how it was attached ... ??

Oh humfrz, Always trying to find the light in a situation.

the new guy 01-09-2014 12:23 PM

Damn that's super scummy. I echo what's been said before and give us the raw 1080 file from the first video and we could probably grab the license plate number for you in adobe premiere. At that point, you could take the footage, plate number, and pictures of the damage to the police.

Rayme 01-09-2014 12:34 PM

Grab the video. Go to the police and say you want to press charge to attempt robbery/property damage. They should be able to find the owner based on the plate. Do this at least, you may end up in small court claims. Be prepared when you go see them, have pic of the damage and the video on a usb drive, if you do all the work they should help you on the spot since they have nothing to investigate.

For the people trying to categorize theif by the car they drive..it doesn't f*cking matter, a theif is a theif.

Lonewolf 01-09-2014 01:32 PM

Fat bastard loser...just as long as we don't become like the Honduh community where guys run around stealing stuff at meets and racing events like its a swap meet or something...

cdo221 01-09-2014 01:48 PM

EDIT: got the videos from OP but I couldn't pull anything good off it unfortunately... hopefully somebody else can do better :(

@vincent201089

Any chance you could send me the raw video? I'm going to PM you my email address. I'm more of a photographer but I dabble in videography from time to time. I can put together the video so it's one video and also try to pull the plate information for you. I'm no CSI so no guarantees but I'll do my best.

z3ro 01-09-2014 02:47 PM

before i watch the videos; is the guys girlfriend in the video, and if so, is she cute?

tpc2001 01-09-2014 02:50 PM

Does the mall garage have cameras?

Books 01-09-2014 02:51 PM

Man, people suck. I am absolutely livid watching these videos. I also have a BlackVue and a relocation kit and this is my worst fear.

zenki_levin 01-09-2014 02:57 PM

My guess is he stole shit before. Look at how calm he is when he's messing with the plate.
