FR-S test drive in Charlotte, NC(Fort Mill, SC)
 

I have registered for sat April 28, 2012 :happyanim:
but after I registered I read that you must be 21 to test drive... but I'm 18 so does that mean I'm not getting to test drive my dream car!?!? :(

but ill still be there since my dad too has registered :D


and I'm wearing my BRZ(LOL) t-shirt to the event i got from bestwheelbase!!

The cars are so similar, nobody else will notice!

yeah since its the only t-sirt i can get my hands on at the moment... but yeah me and my dad are taking lots of pictures and video of the event and I'm posting it and i really can't believe I'm getting my hands on the FR-S before it makes it in the show room... I'm so excited :happyanim: thats all i can think about right now.... but i have my fingers crossed maybe they wont make a big deal on my age! :burnrubber:

I'll be there as well! I'll post a review afterwards with pics and possibly video. Unlike other reviews, I won't repeat all the same stuff that we all know over and over. Where possible, I'll review unique parts that I haven't seen written about, but a lot of this will depend on how much time I'm allowed to have and how hard they let us drive.

i was told we were the first ones(to the public) in the country to drive one, my dad drove it first out of everyone then they let me drive i was so excited and the engine sounds sooooo good from the inside.. posting videos as soon as i find a cord for the computer lol

and one of the Scion guys took a picture of me since i was wearing the BRZ 86 shirt!!!!! I wish i could remember his name!!

Just gone done there. I just went over to see an 86 in person and didn't register to drive since I have a brz on order. But I was chatting with one of the guys and told him that and he signed me up to drive anyway. A lot of fun. Don't be shy about heading over, even if you didn't register.

I would have liked to have gone but Ford Mill is just a little too far for me to go.

Yah xD i wished we would get that here in the states but i guess ill have to import this from japan. Red just looks so sexy and pops out more compared to the bla.ck or white

Thanks! I drove the Hot Lava and the Black once each. Disappointed that they were all automatic, but I understand why... All in all, it was great fun. Car is a lot of fun to drive and very easy to become comfortable driving. Met some nice folks out there too, good start to the community around this car. :)

Thanks for the pics everybody. This must be the Yokohama Ride & Drive using the Scion FRS that I have heard about. Anybody know what kind of Yoko tires they put on the car? Will the event be coming to the NY/NJ area? Thanks.

I was there at 2pm it was surprising how little people were there. Im uploading my pics and video now and will post soon :) I was already sure i wanted a frs/brz but now after that test drive im 100% percent sure i was right lol. :):burnrubber:

I drove this afternoon at the 1PM session. LOVED IT!

Despite the gloomy weather and smallish lot, the group of guys in my bracket really enjoyed themselves.
