I am selling my Original 1997 Toyota Supra Twin Turbo 6-Speed.

-Targa Top
-83k miles
-Twin Turbo running in TTC mode
-Rare 15th Anniversary Edition.

The car has a Clean and Clear Texas Title (in-hand).

It is Renaissance Red with only a few basic Mods. I am the 3rd owner, the second owner bought the car in 99 as a Toyota Certified Car from Clearwater Toyota of FL. I have lots of service history and paperwork from the previous owner. I am selling it because I recently purchased another Supra.
All electrics, heating, Air Conditioning function perfectly.

Interior: Black leather interior is in good condition with some stress marks on the front leather seats. Rears seats are in excellent condition. The dash panels are also in excellent condition.

Exterior: Shiny Renaissance Red, it has a few dings from rocks, but overall great condition. The Targa has a few small dings. The front lip has a small crack from parking too close to a curb. 1 small ding on the rear quarter panel. Small scratch on the Right front bumper. These dings are very minor and can only be seen up close.

Mechanical Condition: The car is running 14psi boost in True Twin mode. Runs and drives Great, pulls hard when the the Twins kick in. The car shifts perfectly with no grinds or hesitation. The valve stems seals will puff smoke on start up when the car has sat for a very long time. The Clutch grabs and holds well.

Maintenance: Recently I changed the Spark plugs, Coil Connectors (a few were worn), also Primary O2 with a New Denso sensor. Always oil changed on time with Mobile 1 or Amsoil Full Synthetic.

Modifications:
-Apexi N1 Exhaust.
-RMM Downpipe.
-HKS SSQV blow off valve.
-K&N Cone Air filter.
-Speed For Sale O2 Simulator.
-Polished Cusco Strut Brace Bar Front and Rear
-Viper 500 Alarm
-18" Enkei Bortex RPM Wheels. Fronts: 245/35R18 Yoko S-Drive. Rears: 285/30/R18 Hankook Vantus Evo V12

The Bad: The driver side fender is missing a VIN tag. The previous owner stated that the fender was damaged in a storm by a branch. All other VIN tags are present.

Kelly Blue book private party is $31560 on the car. I would like $32k for the car with all the mods. I can lower the price by fitting stock parts. I have all stock parts (Exhaust, Intake, DP, BOV, TT wheels. PM, or text me if you have questions or need more pics or information. Thank you for looking.

It's a Single Turbo BL-Auto. And it's a salvage title, so I won't mind hooning it...

Thanks man! It had to go sometime....:(

It's all good though! The White one is enough Supra fun and my brothers and I want to move to a different project... We are looking at Elises right now, but who knows! We might even get an old Austin Mini and do a Mid-Engine Hayabusa Motor swap...

MannyO 04-27-2012 09:26 AM

It's all good! Get an FRS now, and then get a Supra when you're old!!

SVTSHC 04-28-2012 09:50 AM

Pants... so... tight... >_<

This is one of those times I need to be a rich guy. WTS body for 32k

p.s. kind of ironic I saw this today, on my drive home yesterday I saw a pretty damn clean MKIV that passed me on the highway while I was redlining (gas, not tach :[ ). Then I saw him at the gas station at my exit lol... SO jealous.

Turbowned 04-28-2012 10:13 AM

If only MR2 values held as well as Supras... :sigh:

Even still, I shoulda kept my '94 MR2 Turbo and restored it. Super-clean ones go between $15-20k.

Funny enough, I am considering picking up a 90's MR2 and restoring it after selling this Supe! I've never driven a MR car and it would be quite the experience!

Turbowned 04-28-2012 01:05 PM

Here's a pic of my old '94. It had Tanabe springs and sway bars, TRD strut bars, A'PEXi intake and GT Spec exhaust, GReddy turbo timer and boost controller, and Project Mu pads.

Mmmmm, tasty!! Is the paint Rennaisance Red, or did Toyota use a different color for the MR2s?

Turbowned 04-28-2012 01:19 PM

No, it was Super Red II, or as we called it "JDM Pink" because Super Red fades horribly. That pic was right after a wax/buff. My '87 MR2 has to be constantly waxed to keep from turning pink, too.

 My '85 that lived in South Florida for the last 3 years of its life was definitely "JDM Pink" when she was retired at 200K miles despite very tender loving care.

Any buyers? Know any friends that might be interested?

I'll throw in a complementary FRS if you pay the $24,930 shipping cost.

I think my really rich friend might be interested if you really throw in the complementary FRS too. :D

Do you have the stock wheels?

Yes, I have stock wheels. I also have stockies in black, but one of the wheels is slightly bent, so you get a slight shake at 60ish MPH. So, I don't think we will be selling those....

I suggest putting the stock wheels back on there. This is just my opinion but those wheels on there are ugly. :bellyroll: They just make the car look cheap. My .02

It's in the ad that I will put stock wheels on if you want. I want to get rid of the wheels though, so I am keeping them on the car for now...

My cousin has 3 Supras. I'll see if he can make it too. My favorite is his 1jz MK3
