Yup, should be at its heaviest tonight right when I get out of work. Then tomorrow is my early day at work so I have to go right the fuck back out into it a few hours later.

Snow didn't ever stop me in IL that I can remember. Here in SC, if it starts sticking, everything shuts down. We don't have the equipment to clear it all. Few years ago I get a call from work (mobile IT, fleet car) at about 5am. "Don't go anywhere today. If there is an emergency, call us and an officer will take you to the location."

We had about five inches or so and it stuck around for three days. Everything was shut down.

Job I'm at now? Well, I still have Montreal and Stockholm to monitor, so I hop on the VPN and work through RDP.

Safe ride man. Looks gnarly out there. I'm not really looking forward to this as much as I was about 4 hours ago. Looked fun at that point. Now it looks like survival mode.

Finally home. About 4 or 5 inches when I left. Was kinda sketchy but not too bad. The worst part is dealing with everyone else on the road.

All you need is a leaf blower for that powdery snow. Glad my twin is garaged.

The xB on the other band...it and the wife's new Rav4 Ltd just help protect the driveway from more snow!

I might seem lazy almost never shovelling the drive but I run 5 miles daily on the treadmill every morning and that's enough for me. And I sweep the walk and steps to avoid people slipping.

In my area they plow quickly and a machine with a special boom operated plow clears the drift at the base of thedrivewal (usually).

Hahaha, it's not a dog shit shovel. It's a massive grain scoop shovel. The thing is a fucking beast and a half.
