Where do I put my badge?
First time Subaru owner. In complete and total love with my DGM BRZ Limited. Waited almost 3 months to get my Subaru 1st badge. So... Where do I put it? Ive seen people that put it in their glove box, people who put it on their intake box. I actually am so proud that I want to imbed it and maybe have it surgically graphed to a part of my skin. Kidding, but anyone have any suggestions as far as the locale of said emblem?
Thanks, Tim |
wherever you want

k.. thanks for your obvious and eloquated response. Comments like this make me want to completely stop asking questions on this forum. I mean seriously. Cant someone ask a question with an asshat posting some ridiculous response?
and PS!. I was actually just over excited about getting my badges for my first Subaru... sorry if I offended anyone. I was just really happy... Till now..... |
He was serious, man, not being an asshat. No need to get so butthurt.
This is your car, and aesthetics is a reflection of your taste. You put that badge where you think it should go. Me, personally, I'd put it in the engine bay. But that's me, not you. Put it where you want. |
I don't think I got a badge

This is my first Subaru too...so I'm not well versed in the whole badge thing either. However, there are a lot of other Subaru drivers in my area (mostly Foresters and Outbacks), but I typically see their badges on the outside of the car just underneath the rear Subaru-lettered badge.
That's a bit safe in my opinion. Why not stick that sucker on the lower right-hand corner of the dash trim piece? Then you and passengers see it every time you go for a drive? |
My recommendation would be to buy a plain black license plate frame, and put them along the bottom edge. Lets them be prominent without having to actually attach them to your car.
|
I ordered my ownership/loyalty badges and I plan on placing them in the glove box or engine bay. I am very proud to own my Subaru's but I also love the current aesthetically pleasing look of both of them and do not want to take away from that.
To the OP; Ultimately this is your car and whatever you do with it should bring you joy. Congrats on you new ride! Cheers, -Nate |
Stick down some clear vinyl, right in the spot where they specify, and stick the badges right there. If I were to bother I'd get biking, performance, and they need software development and gamer badges.
|
Bro you can't get offended that easy on a forum.
But I put mine in the glovebox. And as stated it's your car, if you wanted to know where we put ours should have titled it different. Not trying to be a prick either. Just sayin |

Polls about what color to pick for wheels, which suspension is the best for under $2k, what color car to get... I mean, some are legit questions, but others are just a "I'll go with the most popular answer" choice. I got the same badges but never got excited enough to put on badges on the car. I ended up sticking them on my garage cabinet door, only because that's where all my other stickers are. Your mileage may vary. You can also put it under the hood, glovebox, rear trunk, bumper, door, window, wherever you want. There is no right/wrong unless you think it is right/wrong. -alex |
Not in the blood gutters? :iono:
Fake vents forward and below the mirrors. |
Upon further inspection... OP, you have a total of 12 posts and you're about to stop asking questions? Come on man. Also, you have a thread about de-badging, yet you want to add this badge?
|
In the trash. Because weight reduction.
|
I've had 6 Subarus, I don't have the badge. Not that I'm not proud of being a Subaru owner, I just don't like emblems. I've taken all the letters off all my Subarus, that's just my taste.
I did add the "rainbow" badge to my co-workers owner badge. He still hasnt noticed it lol |

Use it as a belt buckle on your favorite belt - then go drive your subaru.

Ha and I thought I was going to be jealous when I clicked the badge link..holy crap this would never go on the outside of my car. This has household junk drawer written all over it.
|
OMG... so sorry that I came off so zealous.... is there really a rainbow badge... I need multiple of those. my wife may be a bit confused, but whatev...
|
Put it on the front of your hat. See the movie 'FARGO'

First time hearing about this, I'm just gonna do it for the heck of it.. Probably won't end up putting it on my car but that license plate frame idea sounds good.
|
Mine is in the glove box where it is seldom seen. I notice it every once in a good while and I appreciate the aesthetics of it gradually so it doesn't get tiring.

I'd recommend not affixing your badge in/on the car, its unnecessary weight limiting the car's full performance potential
|
Keep in mind the badges come with monthly crap spam from Subaru. Though this month did has a nice 2014 BRZ accessory list/pictures. But, nothing really new.
|
The trash.
This is my fifth Subaru, I love my Subaru but I have absolutely 0 interest in adding a cheap tacky badge. I'm still in the process of completely debadging the car (front and rear stars need to go). |
Looks like A LOT of people woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
|
I put mine on the lip of the glove box so its visible when open, but not when closed
|
I put mine in the inside lip of the glove box like a few others mentioned here @FloridaBRZ

Put it under your tailights
|
Inside the car somewhere. I like the license plate frame idea!
|
This is my first Subaru, and while I definitely like Subaru - these will not be going on the outside of my car.
My wife ordered them. I might put them in the engine bay or a toolbox in the garage.. not sure. I think they are nifty on some of the "family" cars (forester, etc) but not so much on the BRZ. In fact, I debadged my BRZ immediately. |
Yeah, I did the same thing. I like a clean exterior. I am going to put them in the glove box. I would take off the front and rear Subaru emblem if there was a way to do it without having to do body work. But then again, some people may think my car was a scion then.
