Ryan Tuerck Drifts The Ultimate Dream Road in 2JZ FR-S

Professional driver Ryan Tuerck tests out the new mods on his Retaks/Maxxis Tire Scion 2JZ FR-S on a dream road in the scenic Northwest. With a new Garrett GT 4088 turbo tuned to 830HP, Ryan is feeling this new set up on the way up, the real test comes when fellow Formula Drift driver Rob Primo joins him in a tandem drift back down. Lean back and turn up the volume for this one!

I'm assuming here:

Caithness Shepherds Flat Wind Farm, Arlington, OR 97812

Looks to be the place where the windmills are. Maybe I will drive out there next summer. Looks to have some great driving roads out there.

Very sweet. Looking forward to the future when info on how to successfully swap a 2jz into the 86 chassis is readily available.

This is one of the most amazing videos ever. Did anyone else notice how narrow that road was and how sketchy the drops around some of those curves?

wallace03 12-04-2013 11:46 PM

Coordinates to this place please.

Pete156 12-05-2013 12:14 AM

Very well done.

I'm fairly sure I know where this was filmed. Please don't reveal the coordinates. You'd ruin it for us PNWers

It's in Kansas, I think. :D

SmsAlSuwaidi 12-05-2013 01:31 AM

sucks PSI never replied to my email to build me a 2jz frs :)

Entropy 12-05-2013 01:36 AM

Amazing video.

And to those that were wondering, that road is closed to the public. Currently only open to bicycles and pedestrians. Unless of course, your are Ryan Tuerck.

Raymond 12-05-2013 06:08 AM

dope asssss!

As soon as I watched this, I knew I had to do this

Wish they didn't cut it off, or have the writing over it at the end, so you could get the entire drift around the bottom & the following bendshttp://imgflip.com/i/58kcphttp://imgflip.com/i/58kcp

Yep it's a private road you car clubs can rent out, it was designed to look like a normal road though. It's used pretty often for filming car commercials, or shoots like this. The ICON motorcycle vs car drifting video was shot here too.

calmtigers 12-05-2013 10:56 PM

They actually look just like the roads in the foothills in Fresno/lower Yosemite areas...

Biddys 12-06-2013 01:55 AM

I'm pretty sure it's Mary Hills Loop Road.

Which is here:

I agree! Our cars are wild to tame at 400hp (less than 1/2 that of Ryan's setup) lol

I haven't seen much about Ryan this year. He's still racing right?

juice 07-24-2014 11:26 AM

ModBargains 07-24-2014 02:10 PM
