Cfig's Emma Frost

Updated mod list and new pics on page 3
Sorry guys but this first post will be pic heavy but after this it'll just be regular updates with mods anyways

In 07 my parents got me my 06 WRX as my 17th birthday present.

In 09 I passed down the WRX to my little brother and picked up a KA-T S14 eventually built the motor and it made 330 rwhp on a mustang dyne (getting tuned right now for more power)

Eventually the 240sx became unreliable due to some turbo failures and i picked up my '12 Mustang.
(the day after I got it)

(only mods done to it: took of the stripes, lamin-x yellow fogs, gt500 mufflers)

I actually wanted the BRZ ever since I first saw the FRS concept and when they came out I was just too afraid of purchasing a first year model from horror stories my parents had. Well long story short I spent way too much time on here and 8 months later I decided to take a hit and trade the Mustang in for the BRZ on March 16, 2013.

Yea I have no idea how that happened and unfortunately paint won't cover up that gash.

Thanks man! The color is called blaze yellow and I ordered it off of dipyourcar.com. It looks awesome but man does it get dirty fast.

White-Out 11-30-2013 01:59 PM

I wash my car weekly so it's not a big deal.

Same here man!

The parts get here Thursday so hopefully I can get the 240 tuned early Saturday and have time to install the coils over the weekend.

cfig21 12-03-2013 05:12 PM

Well the wheels I was picking up Saturday unfortunately were sold yesterday before I could drive up and pick them up. Luckily Mark at Ravspec came through and hooked me up on a great price for the same wheels but brand new. I should have my coils and wheels on next week :)

Got home today and received some goodies finally! Next week I get my wheels and tires so I can install/mount everything up next weekend.

So I came home for lunch and the UPS truck greeted me with a few presents, now I'm just waiting on my tires to get here tomorrow. I should have everything installed Saturday and hopefully aligned by Monday or Tuesday.

Haha it's killing me too :mad0260: I wanted to stay home and put the coilovers on at least that way tomorrow I could mount everything up. Unfortunately it all has to wait until Saturday.

SkAsphalt 12-10-2013 05:11 PM

I do agree with you there! I sure hope she lives up to it as well. I have high expectations for her though so no worries.

cfig21 12-15-2013 06:14 PM

Finally got my motiv test pipe, coils and wheels on over the weekend. I'm waiting for it to settle down before I lower it some more and get an alignment.

Thanks! I'm hoping it drops more within the next week. I'm already maxed out in the front.

PERRIN_Chris 12-16-2013 12:55 PM

Looks great dude, guessing they're around 18x9.5?

wow that's weird I still have a lot more room up front on my BC's and my front bumper is 3 inches off the ground, then again that is on 17s

SkAsphalt 12-16-2013 01:25 PM

you are going to want to install something to stop those front wheels throwing dirt and grit all over your doors, will take your paint off pretty quick. Lovely wheels tho, damn

Yea i was suprised that i maxed them out and still had so much room. I'm thinking it might be something with the preload. I'm debating on taking another collar or 2 out or messing with the preload.

Yea I'm thinking about getting the mudguards from the FRS. I thought about rallyarmor but it will take away from the sleek look of the car I think.

How do you like it compared to the Mustang?

The mustang was fun and was nice but it just wasnt me. I love the BRZ so much more and I feel like I can make it my own where as the mustang it was hard to break the mold. I also have the 240 which literally makes the same power as the mustang except boost is more fun.

Just a teaser from some of the pics our local photographer snapped at the weekly meet.

Sexy Looking Car! Quick Question

With your rims did you need to stretch or modify your car at all or did you just slap them on with no problems?

I rolled the rear fenders as a precaution but I have not touched the fronts at all. It rubs on fender liner in the front because I'm running 234/40/18 federals which are known to run wide anyways.

Our photographer posted the rest of the shots from the meet friday.

Those wheels look great on your car. They look very aggressive without becoming non-functional. Outside of the coilovers, did you need anymore work done to make them fit?

Thanks man! Yea they look very aggressive but I am able to run my 235/40 with plenty of room left and not a whole lot of neg camber. I wanted to still be able to do autox, mtn runs, and drift so I didn't want a ton of camber and super skinny tires. Other than coilovers I rolled the rear fenders but that's all I've done so far.
