Drift-Office : Grams Aftermarket Fuel Injectors & Pump...
6 Attachment(s)
Can't say I'm not excited today - I've purchased a set of these and got this in the mail a few hours ago and I'm eagerly awaiting to find the time this week before Thanksgiving to see what this would do for us FI peeps...
Attachment 58329 Attachment 58330 Attachment 58331 Attachment 58332 Attachment 58333 Attachment 58334 The injectors above are 1000cc spec'ed - and I've seen these on some of the 1200WHP Hondas that come this way and they (Grams) work FLAWLESSLY. They're certainly not new on the proverbial block... Can't say the same for that other company that's been around pushing their stuff! If testing works out well, you'll see this as a packaged product for all subsequent AVO 300 / AVO 350 builds, and for the uprated SC offerings from KraftWerks / Jackson Racing / Innovate / HKS kits as well. I trust our faith in the product is well founded. :) Stay Tuned for more pics and results! Bob @ Drift-Office, LLC |
I am really interested in these components, as I am currently at the limit of what can safely be achieved with the standard pump and injectors. Will you be selling the kit once you have tested it?
|
So has anyone found the direct injection pump to be a limiter yet? Disregarding the whole "chirping" thing, is there a point where it can't keep up with demand?
|
|
bob, are you aware of this?

Since I've been rather busy with the twins and finishing all the other customer projects before we close for the rest of the year, I've yet to find the time to install them - but I can say that I've seen my peers on my dyno running their drag / street setups with these injectors and have yielded fantastic results.
I'll post an update on these in Feb, since I'll be out to TAS in Jan and the like... Stay frosty guys! Happy Holidays! Bob @ Drift-Office, LLC |

Simmer down boys before your posts arouse the peanut gallery.
That's why Drift-Office will be doing some independent testing. |
Disclaimer : I bought these injectors and pump from Group A / Grams.
I'm confused guys - there aren't a whole lot of injector options out there for the FRS right now, and while there are the IDs, it's been my observation that most here tend to lean towards the DWs. Between DWs and Grams (which is IMHO, leaps and bounds better than DW and shouldn't be in the same sentence) - which would you rather use? Not sure what the issue is being under the same umbrella as Skunk2, but as a calibrator, I always welcome new options that enable us to do our jobs that much better and at a price comparable to DWs. And if they work well, think of the possibilities that this would allow for? :) My 2 cents! Bob @ Drift-Office, LLC |

Have you had personal experience with Grams products? We'd recommend you try them for yourself. Jesse, you represent a business, if anything you should be looking into them to distribute, you're getting killed trying to sell I.D., but hey, that's none of our business. If you don't want to believe us ask customers how they like the Gram's injectors that come in there 06-11 Civic Si, Miata, 12-13 Civic Si and soon to be released S2000, 2013 Camaro, 2013 Mustang supercharger kits. You can also contact SpeedFactory, Go-Autoworks and a slew of other supporters of Grams. SpeedFactory is running them in their record breaking 7 second 1/4 mile Honda Civic, it makes over 1000hp, you think they would run a garbage injector? Anyway, let us know what you think Bob. |
The point Jesse was making, was that you were presenting an opinion without disclosing that your companies are related, therefore it stands to good reason that your opinion is always going to be biased towards the product, whether it was good or not.
He wasn't questioning the product (which is how you be taken it) He was pointing out a fact that you should have disclosed. Quote:

Hey guys, let's let this be yeah? Let me just do what I need to and I'll give you all a no-bull assessment on the matter!
Meanwhile, HAPPY HOLIDAYS! :) Bob @ Drift-Office, LLC |

1) Grams Injectors and Pumps are great products offered to enthusiasts at an excellent value. 2) KW and Grams are both brands of Group-A Autosports 3) As of Friday at 6:00pm the KW bastard who failed to disclose #2 was tarred and feathered. Just before boiling him in hot oil, he vowed to sacrifice his first born to the 86 gods thus we spared his life, but not before demoting him to janitor.:paddle: |
Guys - really?!

Bob, enjoy your holiday and we STILL look forward to hearing your thoughts. Didn't mean to thrash your thread... :hitcomputer: |
Updates? I'm searching for pump and injector options for E85 FI.
|
Sorry Bigmaxy ~ I've been busy overseas and just got back. I'll post up as soon as I get some results in!

Updates on these injectors?
|
Drift-office is known for impecably positive posts. With a lack of follow up i can only assume he is unwilling to speak negative about the product. I mean theoretically if you don't have something nice to say its better to say nothing at all
|
I'm sure Bob will chime in at some point - He has a busy shop to run, so he can't spend as much time on the forum as the rest of us. I do recall asking him about the injectors a month or so ago when I was at the shop and I think he said that they straight up didn't fit. I know for sure that they are not being used.
|
I guess I'll have some feedback soon enough as an unbiased customer.
I purchased the KraftWerks C38 kit (bigger blower) and purchased the 265 lph pump and 550 cc injectors to support it. I'll be getting tuned by Bill at Delicious and daily driving it, but during the day of tuning I'll ask him some general questions about it as well. |

Back from the dead (sorta!) - I've been rather busy this season, haven't even had the time to really catch up and post here on the forum but I'm back with details about the injectors!
We recently had to go to E85 for some of our clientele, and I had these injectors around with every intention of testing them out. Installation was rather straight forward (for us) and I'm told that in that time, the process has since been simplified even more so with the addition of "Plug N' Play" clips so that you need not splice or solder the wires anymore. Upon startup, you will hear more injector noise, but coming from a performance standpoint, it's pretty standard fare to us so I didn't think anything of it - but the pumps, while they work with other applications, aren't a true "drop-in" setup like I would like to see. Thus I went with the DENSO pump instead, but I have no doubt that this would work well for it's intended purposes. That said, once the injectors were scaled, we were able to achieve a nice 400WHP with E85 on our FRS, dyno chart herein : Attachment 87220 I'm happy to say that they work like a charm, no complaints! :) Regards! are these injectors plug and play or do i need a harness?
|
Seriously? He says in post #27 that the injectors need plug and play harnesses lol
|
