Shark Tube LED Tail
 

Has anybody else seen this? Any info? I'm loving the look of it.

Kind of remind me of the Genesis coupe tails. Not bad, although I'd still prefer Toms or Valentis.

I like Toms myself, but these look much more like a modified OEM tail than the Toms do. And for the non-BRZ, I think it matches the headlights a bit more. I really do like the OEM lights, just not 100%.

Can't believe these have disappeared so quickly. Out of all the newer lights, these are one of the best IMO. Would be between these and Toms.

As in down the list, probably not the right choice in words. Most light threads get a cluster of "OMGZ touching myself/being sick" replies and this almost vanished without comment. I was just surprised as these look as clean and functional as any of the other good ones.

I can't find any other info, anyone know anything more or more pics?

I'd definitely look into these...... as they are not over the top, but nice enough to get a second look from people

These look sweet! Jesus the aftermarket for these car is just ridiculous. Makes it so hard to pick parts!

Seriously. Vendors, I'd spend more money than I really want to on these. I don't hate the OEM lights, but these have moved to the top of the list of lights I'd love to get. Toms were my second choice, but I was going to be responsible and wait for those. If I found a US vendor selling these (USDM or not), I'd spend every last penny I had on these.

EDIT: First vendor to have these for sale on the forums will get my everlasting love.

Did a bit more digging (as I would like to see these in the US to give us more options than the big 3 and maybe one or two others).

Sold by a company called Colin Project (only place I could find, and anywhere else refers back to them). And they come in multiple styles.

I really like the way they look illuminated, but not so much in the pictures lower in the thread.

I'm not too keen on the clear or even the reds, but the smoked might be right there.

Smoke it out enough and any tail light will look good

For some reason they remind me of lights I'd see on a BMW. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

These actually look great! I do agree these would look better in combination with the 86 headlights than the TOM's on the BRZ. If I had an 86, these would be on my to buy list. Looks solid!

I agree. I like the TOM's, but they just don't match the aesthetics of the 86/FR-S. Definitely a good fit for the BRZ.

Smoke out the red ones to get rid of the white indicator area and these are going to be bangers :bow: They match the 86/FRS way more than the Subi

Doesn't seem that many vendors are willing to sell these just yet. They're quite specialty, and the last I checked, when you do a Yen to USD conversion from one of the pages I found that sold them *in Japan,* it was about $1000.

The price could have changed since then. No idea.

that ebay seller is in taiwan, selling it for $300 shipped (not sure if you'll be hit with some sort of customs duty, but it'll still probably end up being sub-400).

Not a fan of the Toms at all. I like the Valenti's but there's just something about them that looks too futuristic for me.

Definitely take some pics if you do. I'm satisfied with my blacked out housing on the OEMs, but if these look nice enough, I might try for a pair myself.

Ordered them Thursday night. Says they're shipping out of Taiwan. I have received no confirmations of any kind. I'll keep updated. Hopefully they make it to me with no issues.

Grrrrrrr. Still no updates or confirmations. Getting a lil frustrated.
Never had anything shipped from Taiwan. I figure it'll take a lil longer but damn, a confirmation should be nearly instant.

Ordered a motorcycle HID for a buddy from China - by the time it was confirmed, it arrived at the door. Go figure.

Lol. I finally got an email today. Said they should be here by Friday. I'll believe it when l see it.

I wish that Taiwan vendor still offered these in red. I'm not a fan of the smoked ones, but I want the red ones...

I got an email today saying the ones they have in stock are the red. Mine are on backorder. So it's gonna be a little while longer.
