just got back from the hospital after this ...

EZ Shifter 11-20-2013 11:21 PM

What exactly happened? It looks like it might have been raining in the pic.

Luis_GT 11-20-2013 11:22 PM

What happened?

Glad you made it out ok

Burrcold 11-20-2013 11:28 PM

Shit!!

karne 11-20-2013 11:30 PM

I was going through a "T"-intersection and a lady decided to turn left. All that liquid is my coolant/washer fluid. This happened in Alpharetta GA

Tagera 11-20-2013 11:32 PM

Glad you're ok. Your poor car.

Whitigir 11-20-2013 11:32 PM

Glad that you are doing ok. Be well soon!

Seriously, this platform is the first that I have seen many accidents happen throughout only 1 year and 6 months release

Left turn is always at fault!!! Most of the time

Deja Vu

wasn't someone else on the forums hit by a lady who was making a left turn at a 3-way intersection?

juliog 11-20-2013 11:38 PM

Sorry about that!

minutes before the accident I was talking to my wife about trading in the car for something else...I would never thought of this as valid reason

Kelbyat07 11-20-2013 11:51 PM

Glad you're ok man. I hope this doesn't happen to your next car.

EZ Shifter 11-20-2013 11:51 PM

I'm glad you're OK, although I can't imagine how upset you must feel right now. It wasn't your fault and a left hand turn is impossible to outmaneuver.

If you don't mind my asking, why did you want to trade your car?

Feel better!

I swear I see 3 wrecked FR-S threads a week here. Crazy.

humfrz 11-20-2013 11:56 PM

DANG - sorry to see that .....:(

I hope you are OK.

Your car looks like they may total it .... depending on engine/suspension damage.

Well, maybe on the brighter side, now you can get that different car you were thinking of .... :iono:

Yep, it sure do seem that way!

I swear, 40% of the drivers are impared or otherwise being distracted by communicating on a cell phone and 50% just aren't payen attention to what the hell their doing. That leaves us 10% to watch out for everyone!.... :mad0260:

Back to regular programming .... :sigh:

We were thinking of getting something bigger or with more doors for DD and hauling people. The sad part is I just noticed my car keys in front of me while typing this message.

Best part of all, is that you're still here to make this thread.

Sorry about your car, rest up and get well.

+1000000000

If I could recommend a car, check out the new IS350 F-Sport. You'll love it. Although it's not as fun in turns as your current car, it's still a lot of fun.

So true .

Thanks for the support guys !

Missy 11-21-2013 02:06 AM

I think we have accident attracting cars, sorry dude. I feel your pain, not that much, I feel for you though!

Make sure you get yourself checked out if you're hurting! Better safe than sorry.

Snowball 11-21-2013 02:21 AM

wow, hope you're ok man!

I gotta admit though after seeing the accident threads that have popped up, i'm pressed by how well the crumple zone is for front-end collisions, really seems to soak up the energy.

Speedy recovery man!

ZionsWrath 11-21-2013 02:27 AM

I don't understand... Not sure if I see more threads of wrecks or people owning the car less than a year looking at selling/trading for something "more practical" or "faster"

:(

Interesting observation......:iono:

For those folks that traded for those reasons, my question is; since when did the FR-S/BRZ's "back seat" get smaller and/or the engine lost power, after it was taken off the dealership's lot .... ??

USMC 11-21-2013 12:37 PM

Damn !!!!!!!!Glad you are okay. Sorry about the car. Stay safe brother.

Diode Dynamics 11-21-2013 12:43 PM

Wow! That FR-S is definitely totaled!

I'm glad you are okay OP, that's the most important thing.

Yeshhhh that must have been a pretty rough impact

You're so right.

Fortunately, as Humans, we sometimes change our minds which is totally cool if you can afford to do that.
However, if one finds himself changing his mind too frequently, the cost becomes more than monitary.

My advice to these people is steer clear of Tattooists , Plastic Surgeons and Marriage Celebrants.

I gave up commuting on my motorcycles and bought my BRZ because of the stupid drivers.

Jaywest717 11-23-2013 02:27 AM

That image of that totaled car makes me want to cry on the inside, but I am really glad you are okay.
