^ Love that first photo, wish it were bigger.

Anyone know what this is? Looks interesting - makes the BRZ look huge.

I was just about to post that pic, too! I can't tell what that car is!

Guff 04-21-2012 11:30 AM

It's a SMART Roadster.

MmmHamSandwich 04-21-2012 11:45 AM

When they said photos of a car meet they weren't kidding. Surprisingly few solid pictures of the BRZ's.

So glad our fog light grills are different over here.

That's too bad - not a real car then. Looked like it could be the Japanese successor to the Opel GT - really attractive from the front (except for the headlights).
Edit: just saw the back end - fugetabouitit.

I'd rock it. But I'd want to do a turbo Hyabusa swap.

Smart Roadster

ahausheer 04-23-2012 12:37 AM

Smart roadster, first car I know of that stopped being produced due to warranty claims, despite meeting sales targets. Sweet pics by the way. That pic with the three cars and the city in the background is sweet. :thanks:

Enemies 04-23-2012 01:09 AM

Wonder if they compared VIN sizes.

lol

That Subaru OEM spoiler is sort of growing on me, especially when i see them all lined up , some with some without...Am i the only one?..

i'm almost second guessing swapping it with the TRD

The rear definitely needs some type of wing to finish it off regardless.

Sport-Tech 04-23-2012 01:26 AM

^ You get habituated to anything - trust your initial instinct, it's still tasteless. :D

Giccin 04-23-2012 03:33 AM

Looks like.. Daikokufuto.

But great pics nonetheless.

Yeah, at first I was going to see if it was possible to get the Limited without the spoiler but it's grown on me as well.

I figure I'll just keep the car as is for at least a month or two to see what I really can't stomach and see what other people have done to their car and then make changes.

The initial things I didn't like were the: 1) clock/hazard , 2) front bumper, 3) spoiler, 4) passenger side silver panel...

The only thing that bothers me know is the clock/hazard area on the center console... I don't know why it bothers me so much. I'm hoping something can be done about it. The front bumper I actually like more than the FR-S now, the spoiler I've taken a liken to and as for #4, I'm going to wait until I see it in person. I think some people are going to have neat ideas for what to do with it and I'll probably copy somebody else's idea if it bothers me.

OrbitalEllipses 04-23-2012 04:13 AM

Clock/hazard area should bug you because it looks 90s era econo-cheap. I'm thinking I might with a molded TRB duckbill.

twii 04-23-2012 04:19 AM

Absolutely. I think that to myself every time I see one. I miss my 7th gen GT-S at times, well, the way it was done up and the MPG it used to get at least heh.

Hope those poor heavy GT-Rs and STI were able to keep up...

The darker Subaru blue (whatever they call it now) fits well. Rally blue is still my choice though, with White nipping at it's tailpipe.
