FT-86 SpeedFactory Exhaust Hole Deletes - Now you can look good single.

Since the dawn of single exit exhausts for the Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, and Toyota GT86, we have heard a TON of people ask for a way to cover that empty hole.

We worked on tons of ideas here in-house, which included fiberglass, carbon fiber, and metal. At the end of the day the best way we found for us to do this was with metal. Keeps things simple, and durable.

Made from 22 gauge cold rolled steel, we laser cut the piece, and bend to the perfect curve to fit the bumper. Mounting is done very easily and quickly with three self tapping screws from the back side so nothing is visible. We have chosen a flat black powdercoat which comes darn close to matching the bumper. You'd be surprised how many "flat blacks" don't match this well.

Time for the pics to do the talking. Can be had in either left or right cover.

This will be at 86Nation on Saturday so you can see it first hand if you wish. :)

It's a hard one to photo due to it's location when installed and color. The last pic is probably the best. It sits a tiny bit in from the edge of the bumper. When looking at it from behind it looks as if the bumper is made that way with only the one hole.

YES! been waiting for a proper cover to pair up with my Tomei 60s.

Ok. I wanted to try to mock up first on my BRZ to see how it looks tho. Is that ok? I have a diffuser on the bottom so I'm not sure how it will look....

So I saw this in person. I gotta say it's very clean and from far away, can't tell. Flat black they have that cover is perfect match! If you have single exit, it's worth buying!

Can someone explain to me what is the motivation for deleting one of the exhaust holes? Is it just for installing certain exhaust systems that have a single exhaust pipe? Personally, I've always felt more partial to having twin exhaust pipes rather than a single.

Basically all the single exit systems exist to cut weight from the car. Most in the 15-20lb range over dual exit and to the track guys that adds up quick. The cover here gives someone who wants the car to look good for street use still an option. :)
