WeatherTech Poll on MassDrop

Not sure where to post this, so mods please feel free to move if needed.

I'd really like some WeatherTech liners for my BRZ, but don't see any good deals on them right now. So... I decided to try and make my own :)

I put a poll up on MassDrop hoping some others might be interested. If you're in the market, stop by and vote and we might get ourselves a deal.

Hah! Some dude in his Nissan Altima yelled that at my boyfriend while he was standing next to my car in our driveway. My boyfriend's reaction was just, "Well, at least he didn't see my Miata in the garage..."

I would have thought those who were interested in the mats have already purchased a pair since they released. Good luck!

Just a warning: my only experience with Massdrop has been terrible. My side markers were supposed to ship two weeks ago. Not getting any info. from the sellers/site.

That's unfortunate. I've done a few drops with them and have had nothing but good experiences.

qitorr 11-22-2013 09:10 PM

I have only done the one for helix markers, maybe the one you were in rba since it was recently. I got my markers and they looked great although the communication during and after left much to be desired. Delivery was delayed so I was given $5 credit so hopefully this gets off the ground and I can use it there.

Also, with the winter weather coming down across the states it seems to me this is a good time for anyone that didn't immediately pick up these mats to do so. I have heard nothing but praise for them.

connorlug 11-23-2013 12:58 AM

done!

What kind of deal are you guys aiming for? I don't want to make a massdrop acct w/o knowing. BUT, IMO $106.00 isn't unreasonable by any means for a set of weathertechs given their rep and quality...

OK -- that's good to hear that my experience is not the norm.

I'm in the one for the Helix sidemarkers... hoping mine come shortly. I didn't get a tracking number, did you get one? The lack of communication is a bit worrying and makes me wonder if I should file a claim through PayPal. However, if the sidemarkers are actually in transit, I don't want to do that.

Well, you can't really set a discount. MassDrop works with a supplier if enough people are interested and the discount is whatever the supplier is willing to offer. It's usually based on volume, so the price decreases as more people participate.

I never did get a tracking number, they just showed up. I understand the frustration but I don't think anything devious is going on. Hope they get to you soon.

I love Massdrop so Id's be down for this. But here is a pretty cheap website for Weathertechs. http://www.quikshipauto.com/weathertech_444821.html
Anyone have any experience with them?

Pretty sure that is where I got mine. I can't find any email of the receipt but I know I googled and found it less than $100 when I got mine. Looks fine. At worst if you use a credit card, what can happen?

I just ordered with them a week ago. Package arrived at my apartment pretty quick. Unfortunately I was already out of town for the holiday, so I can't speak as to the condition, but considering they're just floor mats, I don't envision any issues.

I was a little concerned ordering through them versus a more reputable vendor, but they were the cheapest I could find by about $10 after shipping. I'd recommend them.

I was in the same group buy. Mine arrived yesterday. I did get a tracking number for them. It wasn't emailed it was on my transactions page. Not sure what kind you ordered but the clears were on delay. It took a while but when I got it, it was really well packaged and everything there like they promised. So don't worry it is coming!

Also, voted for the weather tech mats even though I already have them... they are awesome so everyone should have them!

I gave up on the group buy because I found on a few forums that weather tech doesn't do group buys. I wanted them so they're already here!

I have them but haven't installed them yet. Waiting to vacuum the floor first.

How do you clean the Digital fit if it gets dirty?

Vacuum or pull them out and hose them down.
