It looks closer to the Tom's antenna. More "boxy/square" it seems.

Just verified today with them, the guys in the factory that actually know vs. the Sema sales staff. ;)

Takes a long time to make a product for release, the one on the car was actually a 3D printed model and the only one in existence. :)

Any more pics of these new shark fins?

Will it match the contour of the BRZ roof? Part of the reason that I did not go with the original was the fact that it was perfectly straight and did not follow the contour. That and the fact that it looked too big to me. Can we get a side by side shot of both antennas at the same scale. (I can Google both and look at them, but can't really get a true sense of scale unless they are photographed at the same time.

Is this new streamlined antenna going to be available for the FR-S as well? I don't like the current FR-S BS antenna.

It will be. The only color that will not be available we were told is Hot Lava

That's not a problem as long as Ultramarine is available.
But I'm not sure if I want to wait that long...I'm really leaning towards the Modellista fin but it's so expensive, I'm stuck!

Yep, that's why I sent it back. Keep in mind this was not actually installed. Just resting on the roof. That's why I am asking if the new style will be contoured.

I was told that it will have a rubber footing like the current frs ones to contour the roof better and keep water out.

Any new info?
