You could have even more fun if you left your blizzaks in the basement and went out with your summer tires .....:D

Yeah, I'm waiting for my Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3's to come in. But the past few days have been an absolute blast with the temperature dropping xD

ZionsWrath 11-15-2013 05:04 AM

Just fixed up my old car I gave to my sister but she doesn't drive. New oil, brake fluid, rotors, windscreen wipers. Full bottle of washer fluid, full tank of gas, shovel in trunk. Can't wait.

Dropping temperatures and summer tires makes it a whole lot of fun and easy on the tires.

Oh driving on the stock Primacy's is too much fun in the white stuff. :)
I drove in this when I still had my summer's on.

pffft barely a dusting

I didn't have any winter tires last winter and I didn't have any issues, but I don't feel like inviting danger/problems so I have a set of Hankook I*pikes sitting in my basement.

FRSToyota86 11-15-2013 12:59 PM

You can not possibly drive on stock tires in Canada during winter. You get no grip, not safe.

You mistake adrenalin rush for fun. Not all adrenalin rushes are fun, in fact most are decidedly not fun. Glad I wasn't on any road you were on.

You need at least all season tires. The stock Primacy barely grips properly on a wet road. It won't grip at all on a frozen road.

We have had 2 easy winters in NJ so I suspect this one will be one for the record books. Just changed my OEM HP's (which because of their rubber compound loose traction in <40 degree weather) with new set of All Season (Michelin Primacy MXM4).

I wasn't driving in the snow with the stock Primacy tires by choice. Woke up one morning to find out it snowed overnight when the day before was hot as hell. Had no choice but to drive to work in that.
Got my winter's put on two days after that. :)

Don't pretend you don't know! My mom works NY but her office has a spot in Charlotte. They close when you get more than an inch of snow, :bellyroll::bellyroll::bellyroll:
