Sad to see her go ...
It's almost time to but the frs to sleep for the winter :) hate the fact that I have too but I don't live live in sunny florida  : and I I couldn't live with with the look of the stock or winter rims. . So now now I can plan on on what type of FI I I am going going to go go with.

Lol I guess ur right,, I guess there are worse things out there. Thanks for pointing out how shallow I have become :)

Haha all in good fun buddy
|
Spend the winter buying unpainted and cheap body parts and work on them them yourself so when your car emerges it will look like one of those mag cover cars.
|
But just think how much fun you will have ...... come spring thaw ....:)

Calgary snow (much worse than Brampton by the way) with stock wheels and winter tires on them. You're missing out on so much fun. :)
|
I have no idea what you are talking about.
I can't read. |
I'm hoping we get some actual rain here in SoCal! We need it, and there's no "winter" so it's just fun season for the FR-S!
|
Yes rain and the FRS equals much fun :) enjoy it ...

Was just lamenting the same thing over the weekend...time to put the BRZ under cover for winter. Drove by a decent trans-am for sale and stopped to have a peek...wondering if I just need a winter fun car to ease the pain. :party0030:

all joking aside, if you think that driving this car with stock tires in any kind of snow is a good idea then you are an idiot. at best you are going to destroy the car in an accident, at worst you are going to get yourself or someone else killed. get winter tires or dont drive it. more on topic, get winter tires and drive it! so much fun. |
two things about putting the twins away for the winter:
1. Mitigate the risk of some idiot sliding into your twin -body work and diminishing resale value. 2. Damage from salt -who's really going to hose the underbody to remove corrosive salt when it's freezing outside? Not everybody has panels or undercoating to protect their baby's belly from chunks or ice, salt, and rust. I know it's a waste of insurance money (and car payments) paying for a car to sit in the driveway for the next few months but accidents and rust suck. |

Well its nice and sunny here!!!!!!!!!! IN MIAMI!!!!!!!
|
Same situation here. Today is the last hurrah. Running some errands then home for a final wash before the cover goes on. Yes I know. Covers are bad.
As someone else said...#FirstWorldProblems |
I run mine until it snows enough for them to do something to the roads (it did spit a little Friday). It's not the snow that hurts things, it's the salt / calcium chloride / sand.
