ft86Fan 04-16-2012 01:59 PM

Even 2.5 inches lower doesn't look very low.

Rampage 04-16-2012 02:02 PM

Wonder why it took them so long to publish that report. That car meet happened months ago.

good question. first thing that came to my mind too.

Sasquachulator 04-16-2012 02:18 PM

that can't be a 2.5 inch drop...

The car doesnt even have that big of a wheel gap to begin with....

My car has a 2.5inch drop, and the wheel gap was the size of a fist.

And isnt the stock ground clearance around 5 inches? that would make the drop pretty much low rider.....

tripjammer 04-16-2012 02:41 PM

They working on a turbo! Yeah!

Noted, but I'm assuming VenomRush was talking about bigger diameter wheel/tire combo which would raise a car.

86design 04-16-2012 05:33 PM

i still think 19inch is to big for that car...it might be flush! but i want to lower my car with a good stance...

moda3 04-16-2012 06:35 PM

Is this guy reading the catalog?

jcutner 04-16-2012 06:40 PM

That guy has an annoying voice. Also, is it pronounced Greddy? I always said "G Ready"

Leepox 04-16-2012 06:52 PM

Lowest I'll go is 30mm. Biggest tyres I'll go are a set of 18's. And this video really finalized my thought of getting a black one....

Once the turbo version comes out :D

I've spoken to several reps and they all pronounced it Greddy and not G ready.

Too bad they weren't at Car and Coffee the weekend before last when I was there :(

Jah1mon 04-16-2012 09:13 PM

Would have appreciate a more thorough review of the modified suspension.

I was expecting that as well. We'll have to settle for "fun" as their review.

Also, I know the 19"s have some significance in the shown ride height. But I'm wondering if he meant to say the coilovers are capable of 2.5" drop.

armythug 04-16-2012 11:22 PM

Oh man the car looked very small in that video. Exactly what I'm after. Wheels looked huge but not really out of place.

Guy hardly seemed enthusiastic*facepalm* Anyway i wasnt feeling the big tires but the turbo was great news, hopefully "not enough HP" naysayers will stop complaining?

KatHawkDown 04-17-2012 12:42 AM

Nice car.

Dumb video.

koyv90 04-17-2012 02:39 AM

not going to lie that drop and wheels= perfect. I just want to know how much i need to drop it for going 18 rims instead of 19 ha. Not to mention the offset they got.

Your right, if he was we would have had chris harris all over again:thumbsup:

takchi 04-19-2012 07:11 PM

I'm a little concerned with suspension geometry especially for this type of suspension design from the factory. Car looks great though. 19s are going to be pretty expensive to upkeep in terms of tire selection. I wonder how 17s and 18s will look on the car. For the performance minded individual, 17s have the widest selection of tires as well as great pricing compared to 18s and 19s.
